pif huddle real quick

Hey yall...listen we have had a couple small issues pop up.

First of all, I really wish we didnt have to talk about this but no PIFing icky ejuice.
Not liking the juice is one thing, but if it has some "wrong" with it...foam, sediment, been contaminated somehow, it would wake and then kill the dead.
Use it to kill ants, throw it away, pour it down the drain or something other then PIF.
Don't pass it on, to create another victim please.


Offering Dead parts in the PIF thread. This is a problem because...very few people can use dead parts. It seems like every time these items are offered up it locks up the thread until someone adds... We have a trading section, and the treasure chest lets keep these in those areas.

My tob4 tends to look evil until it gets the bejeezus shaken out of it -- TA is hard to mix in, and it tends to separate back out -- lil brown globs of tob awesomeness. Nature of the beast.
Then again, I don't PIF that mix -- it's for special people

I'm pretty new to this and took a PIF that had a used 510 pass-through. The pass-through was so used it was dead on arrival. I did get some good juices but still, why would someone do that?

PS...and seeing dead parts being offered, although coveted by some modders, is kind of upsetting. It also seems to hold up the PIF until a modder happens to come on and sees it.

<---- is very lucky to be a "special people" and have some of the fabulous tob4.
and staying on topic:
If i every PIF anything funky it is purely unintentional. I would never send out anything that obviously looks or smells weird. But sometimes I accept PIFs because I want only part of it. I then PIF the rest on without trying the juices (if they are high nic or high PG which I can't tolerate). I always make sure they don't have an obvious alien infestation or glow in the dark or anything like that though, lol!

I'm right there with ya Eekaa, I'm picky about nic and pg/vg, and sometimes I'll take a PIF to try the flavor so I can know if I should order it in my strength, or I will take an offer wanting only part of it. I certainly hope noone ever takes offense if they see something they PIF'd to me going back up for someone else.

I'm with yall I figure if I send something to someone to try, or someone sends something for me to try the whole point is to try new things. If they don't like them and pass them on, great! At least I know that someone else has a chance to try them as well, maybe they will like them. If I pass on something that was sent to me that wasn't my cup of tea I hope nobody takes that as a personal affront. I look at it from the view that instead of keeping it and letting it go to waste I should pass it on, and maybe somebody will find a new flavor they like by me doing that.

You all have a good point , however there is something else to consider too.

Eliquid is ment to be stored in a cool dark place.
Light and heat are not good for it . Every time that it is shipped it is subjected for days to either or both . The padded envelopes we all tend to use do not keep out light or heat. So every time it is shipped it degrades even more quickly then it normally would.
It also has a shelf life. Some say a year , others 6 months , but that is with proper storage. Being shipped all the time is not proper storage.
vg is vegetable glycerin, taken from vegetation and so subject to degradation . Nic is extracted from tobacco and is subject to degradation also.

By the time the liquid has been shipped who knows how many times, it may not be much good any more.

Just keep it in mind and dont ship something that doesnt look fresh anymore . Better to dump it then to pass it on .
