PIF proposal

Just kinda trying to get a feel for how well this would work, so bear with me

I'm trying to get started with the reviewer thing, but it's kinda hard having limited funds and really no "street cred" in the reviewing field.

What I'd like to do is simple. I've currently got an offer from Sir Lawrence at Vapormoon for a 2 for 1 deal on the Saber (I'd get both the 3.7v and the 5v), so what I'm hoping for is this. I'd like to take a "collection" or "donation" kind of system, that way I'd be able to do the reviews, get some more vid reviews under my belt, and be on my way.

Now I know the question on everyone's mind is "What do I get out of it?". That's a simple one to answer. After I put the unit thru it's paces and record the reviews, I'll hold a contest right here in the PIF section to give them away (yes, I said give them away), or I can simply Pay it Forward . I'm not looking to profit or "make out" here, but I'd really like to help everyone out at ECF, and I'm really looking to make my mark in the reviewer's world.

So, watcha think? Would anyone be up for this? Please feel free to leave comments/questions/concerns

It would b easiest for cash donations for me to purchase gear and juices, and hopefully wouldn't stop with the saber. This would be a great way to get reviews of some new PV's out there (and let me get some reviews done as well ).

I could even take it one further. I could use a poll to let the community decide what gear or juice they want reviewed. And keep in mind, everything I would purchase with this cash would be given away, I would keep nothing. Like I said, I'm not in this for personal gain

Something like this was done once before by another member that I will not name simply because I feel like I would have to take a shower just saying his name.

Having said that, I would have no problems with you doing this and would help in anyway that I can. I love the idea of a poll to decide which unit or liquid you will do. As for giving it away, I think a simple draw a name out of the hat thing would work great. Anyone that donated to the purchase of that particular unit or juice would have their name entered and draw their name out of the hat. For example, you Donate $5 you get one entry, donate $10 and you get two entries, etc. Just a suggestion on that one.

I would trust you to do an honest review and not take advantage of anyone. You have my vote!
