AW IMR + Pila charger

Ok. REO noob here. First mod.
Haven't even used my Reo Mini 2.0 18490 yet. Trying to get a handle on batteries. First things first.
So my new Pila charger + 2 AW IMR 18490 1100 mAh batteries arrived in mail today from ProVape. I open the box & read the charger instructions. Over & over again the instructions say that the charger is only to be used with Pila Li-ion batteries. HELP!!
Did I buy the wrong charger?
Did I buy the wrong batteries?

PS I have a charging bag. I am a responsible vaper.

Thanks Sterno. I did lots of research on battery safety etc before I placed my order. I really thought I had it right. Appreciate your response.

Yep. I've used my Pila to charge IMR, IRC, protected, unprotected... as long as they're 3.7 volt lithium batteries, the Pila is pretty safe to use.

You are not the only one who read that and was worried! The batteries are the same except for the name. Pila will not be responsible, and will not pay for anything if you do not use their batteries and there are problems. To me it was worth a voided warranty to have such a great charger. I saw lots of great reviews on the Pila. Now almost a year later I am so glad that is what I chose. My Pila has out lasted and out performed all my Trustfire and Ultrafire chargers.

Talking about a Pila and IMR's ... what happens to the IMR's when they are left in an unplugged Pila?

Instead of placing drained IMR's next to the Pila to rest, I would like to put them in the charger to rest before charging them. This cleans up my desk somewhat. My desk can seriously use a good clean up and every little bit helps.

From my limited knowledge, I don't think it would hurt anything.
