I have a little hobby with painting the engravings of my guns. I was looking my Subtank and a little light bulb when off. Pretty slick huh? Just wanted to share

Yeah I use to use nail polish but sometimes the base would mess up the matte finish on some of my pistols. Sharpie makes oil base paint pens that works great for painting engravings, plus the excess wipes off real nice
I did a Test of it on a piece of Rem Metal. 1/2 Paint and 1/2 Painted and then Glossed. The just the Paint looked good. But the finish Didn't look like it would Hold Up that well. The Painted/Glossed Looked Great. And the Finish has a Kiln Glazed feel to it.
And I plan to do an IPV Mini body in the next couple of days.

Heard that. I used an engraver's pen for white scrip (had a blunt needle like tip). Dunno whatcha call 'em. Picked it up at a shot show in my smithin' days. Nah, I meant nail polish for the SubT's. Lot a real estate for a pen. LOL
