So I just got my sampler from Pink Spot Monday - I ordered...

Grape Expectations
Frozen Lime Drop
Pink Spot
Black Mamba
Lemonberry Cooler
Swagger

... and started out with the grape, because I haven't tried any grape flavors yet. I wouldn't call it gross, but it's pretty... bland. It doesn't have ANY flavor. It makes me nervous, because I've heard AMAZING things about almost all these flavors and have wanted to order from Pink Spot for a WHILE, and I have one clearo left to try another flavor (I'm weird and I hate dripping).

Should I let these sit for a couple weeks? I tried the grape on the VV ego twist and couldn't find a good flavor (although the vapor production is awesome)... anyone who's had some experience with pink spot's liquids, should I stick these in the cabinet for a few weeks? Is the grape just kinda bland? I refuse to dump it and waste the juice but... blargh.

(The shipping was fast and they gave me a free sample, on the bright side!)

If you think the Grape wasn't up to par, wait until you try the Pink Spot. See my review here:

That makes me pretty sad because their flavors look really tasty (and they're so BRIGHT!). I'll try the Lime Drop tonight, I guess, though I already have a lime/coconut flavor loaded into one of my CE5s.

Is it also your experience that fruit flavors tend to fade out? That makes me a little sad, too, because those are the ones I've found I enjoy the most.

I just tried the frozen lime drop and I feel like it has a very... sharp flavor. I know that their flavors are supposed to mimic mixed drinks but I can't decide if I like the flavor or not.

I had one of there lemon drops (i think its discontinued now) It wasn't my thing, but it benefited from a GOOD steep, it was ok after about 3 days, although still not my cup of tea.

Pink Spot, if I remember correctly, has a born on date on their bottles. It may need steeping. Give them some time with cap off, shake a couple of times a day, for about a day or so. Cap them back up and let them sit for a week or so. Try them again. They may change for the good. Like GT said, kind of overpriced. I didn't reorder anything...
