Hi I have just got the pioneer insider as I've had great success with the pioneer v1 and v1.5 I'm having trouble getting the best flavour from the insider, can anyone help me with things such as coil height? I think I got the wicking down as I don't get dry hits there is flavour but not as much as I get with the v1.5 any advice is appreciated thanks.

That looks like it could be a few millimeters.
That sounds like it's too much.
I'd say try getting the distance from the bottom of the coil to the airflow at 1mm is worth a shot, it should give some improvement.

Lowered it a little as I'm using a 2.5mm i.d coil so can't go too low, it seems to be a bit better, thanks again.
Ah ok well thanks anyway bud I cut the wick tails a bit longer so hoping that helps I also raised the coil and it's better now
It's a learning process with any rebuildable, with lots of trial and error.
All you can do is try different ideas over time and keep notes on what actually works.
I do know that some rebuildables can use Rayon for wicking very well, and others only seem to want to work with cotton.

I'm quite new to Boro I got the cthulhu aio and as I've had success with the pioneer rtas I thought this would go smooth but apparently not, ah well got my kayfun out flavour for days on this. Thanks for the advice bud
Tripod is a great RTA for flavour, clone or genuine (Atmizoo). But clone is more affordable.

I've never tried it mate I got kayfun lite with upgraded deck and it's always been a banger for me got the wicking locked down everytime.
