Vapenw is selling for $79.99. I don't know how much eciggity is actually selling after discount but I do know they have some 5 or 10% discount codes. But I don't have time to play that discount game so I guess I will never be their customer.

Anyway I have waited, waited, and waited. I waited until I saw Vapor Flask V3, and smok M80 v2, and then DNA40 clone, all with TC, and when I looked at my sig100 and sig150, Dimitri, Isticks, Dovpo parallel mods,... and finally I realized I have lost interest in ipv4 or any other regular box mods already. Temperature control mods, here I come. :)

rounding third and heading home...
So you think the mini is still the go to mod to buy?

yes, the sx mini is still the mod to get right now- yihi is just kicking it right now and their boards are the gold standard in vaping. with the arrival of the 350j board in march with temp control they will continue to reign . that said, i like the ipv4 with the 330board as a back-up and to take around in areas i don't want to risk hurting my sx mini(fishing , for one). i do know it is bigger than it seems in the stand-alone picture but it looks too tempting with a $79 PRE-ORDER price to pass up. i think with this and an sx mini i won't have to worry about chasing every new mod as they get released every few seconds. one nice feature with the 350 and 350j board is they are upgradeable with a simple download from yihi. it helps keep them ahead of the curve instead of having to buy a new device each time improvements are made- something that can't be said of any evolv product right now. with the constantly changing vaping landscape that is the top feature to have IMHO.......

Nice. I did get the sx mini and it's the best mod I ever own. I have a sigelei 100 watt plus as something to keep my mini at home when I'm out and about. I have a vs dna 30 and the quality is not good and yihi has the game in their hands. Thanks for the recommendation.

I was reading on a website to only use vts5 or purple efest for the IPV mini v2...Is that the case because I have a bunch of samsung 25r batteries and I'd hate to buy more.

VTC5's are nearly impossible to get now, and I don't trust efests, due to hearing some are rewrapped batteries, I use the samsung 25r's in my mods now, and I go as low as 0.40ohms with them.

I would prefer VTC5's, but the samsungs work just fine.

Where do sites get this crap?
Are you aware Efest has a Purple battery that is only 6amp continuous? That would BITE in a 70w mod.

So............I fell for the Deal on a Mini v2
Hey, $62.99 isn't to bad. They claim only 9999 being produced. With failures and Consumer damages this thing could become a collectors item...........................
.......... How am I kidding? I'll have it Vaping 2 minutes after I get the package in my hand.

I also have an eery feeling that IPV4 is going to get a chunk of another pay check.
You need to start thinning the herd crx:ohmy: You better send some of your back ups to me to keep safe for you!:vapor:

Ipv-v4 is buck-only. It means that it canNOT provide MORE than the battery voltage, which is 8.4 V nominal (open circuit), and 7 V under load.
On the other hand, the IPV mini2 70W is a boost-only mod, which canNOT provide LESS than battery voltage, which is 3.6 V under load.
The only buck-boost mod I know of is the Yihi SX mini, which can provide from 1 to 9.5 Volt. The best of both worlds, but comes with a price tag.
Two-cells buck-only mods are, all in all, the best compromise -if you can withstand their increased size. As I vape at "normal" power (around 10W or less), I am after the longer runtime, longer calendar battery life, and improved control at low power.
Two-cells mods -like the Sigelei 100W- which cannot regulate below 10W are useless in my case. Hope the manufacturers finally understood the importance of down-regulation. I put in a drawer FOUR iSticks 20W, which I bought following the media hype, just because they didn't down-regulate.
On the other issue. I'm after the IPV-v4, it would be the first 2-cell mod I own. Here in the UK there are no pre-orders because of different sale laws, can't sell things you don't have, so I am jumping from site to site daily, just to be sure I don't miss the first wave of sales. I ma not really after temp control, I have the Yihi Sx mini but I use the Nautilus on it, I just want to have a nice-looking two-cells mod. Hope it is worth the wait. And, to this time, I haven't understood yet if the 9V-2A charger, necessary to recharge the batteries in the mod, is included in the sale, or not.
