Beta Modded Battery, made with a Galvanized nipple for plumbing with two caps, drilled for a button and the atomizer. got my two 3V Tenergy RCR123A batteries last week and went nuts. made it that day and haven't gotten around to posting about it here cause... well it was my first 6V mod which was exciting to me but a little embarrassing, especially my silly video

the RCR123A batts needed a spacer to fit so I cut up an old garden hose and belt sanded it down to size, lol.

it works great with the 18650 too (doesnt need a cut up hose to fit either), which hasn't died on me yet but we'll see. :)

haha, thanks guys. I've had some people ask me on other sites to make em something that would use 6V for cheap.

So I'm thinking, I want the same idea, but the look is well... too much like a bomb

Spray it down with some spray paint, and it will look sweet!

and I want to be able to sell it for 40 bucks +shipping. and without batteries

what I've started getting parts for is a brass nipple the same size as this one with hex caps. it would look practically the same as "the copper" only bigger and having a button on the side.

if I was gonna spray paint it though, I might consider going back to the galvanized for cost, only with hex caps.

so idk, low supply 40 dollar battery mod sound reasonable?

maybe I'd call it: Hex Cap, or Hex Bomb, or perhaps something without the word bomb in it.

names not too important unless I had a name for myself :p
I'm thinking now.... "The Zaibach 3/4"x3" Brass Mod"

this is exactly how the chuck came about (except with copper pipe), be careful with galvinized pipe, I remember something from welding where you drank milk after welding galvi, something about the fumes being toxic. The Arador Armour Library
I wouldn't think your pipe would get anywhere near hot enough though.

Yes, welding galvanized will make you sick for sure. Just a few minutes of exposure to the burning zinc will have you woozy for a while.
While you wont be inhaling burning fumes like welding when your are vaping from it, I am not sure if constant handling of bare galvanized metal would be too good for you or not. Especially if you get it on your hands and dont wash them well before eating and such..

good advice, maybe brass is the way to go for something like this, too bad it costs so much.

it is normally a way cleaner cut I've noticed too, better contact with the caps at the least.
