Here are some of my other setups. I just realized that I had not shared them, and also realized that I don't a picture of my 18500 Jazz pipe. Going to have to do something about that..

My fave RA on the Jazz, the IGO-L. Nice and squatty, with the perfect diameter.

And a big shout to Ab for the Siam stem adapter and Turkish stems idea. Thank you, my good sir. :toast: I'll keep experimenting to find my ideal setup, but so far, so good. There's a lot of potential in this approach.

Enjoy!

Is that black palm? Totally sick!!!

Here's my Kicked Jazz 18500 -- still probably my favorite pipe.

And here's a size comparison of my Jazz, Isis, and EPM egg:

Yeah it is Blackpalm. That's the exact same 18500 Kicked Jazz I have, but the button is the older style.

I bet that black palm is really hard to carve -- absolutely beautiful, though!

Yeah, I'm a little torn on the new Jazz button. While I tend to like the more low-profile look of the old one, the new one is a helluva lot more comfortable to use. Romaniac upgraded mine for me a couple of months ago.

I'm finally back in the pipe game. I feel this will be the gathering of many in the near future...

EPM Dublin with a Cisco Spec 306, Universal, Empire Ego Drip Shield, and a churchwarden stem I had laying around from one of my tobacco pipes. I'm not crazy about the blue bowl. I got it in a trade so whatever. I might try restaining it a dark brown almost black.

I'm really starting to love vaping pipes. Its just such a natural thing. I love high tech mods but they never have that narural feel that you are used to like smoking a ciggie. Pipes, even electronic pipes have that almost organic feel to them thats so much fun to hold and puff on all day long. Here's a pic of my latest pipe that I got yesterday off the classified.

RGM, the only difference I've noticed is that the longer, 5 inch and 8 inch, stems will cool the vapor slightly. Aside from that, the material used for these pipe stems is Lucite (aka acrylic) and it does not change the flavor in my experience. I haven't had to adjust my draw to get a good puff, either. It's a very natural feeling puffing on these pipes. Get one (or five). ;)

I should add that the long 8" churchwarden stem is actually made from vulcanized rubber. They do seem to impart a slightly rubbery taste when I draw air through it. Does anyone else get that?

Ps- I'm working on a link for some 8" Lucite churchwardens. It's looking promising, and should be available in several colors. ;)
