Nice grab, Big. That's a pretty intense pipe.

A lot of Oom-Paul action these days. I'm actually working on one myself right now. Shaping is done, should be wired up this week hopefully. I really love the Hungarian/Oom Paul shape, and the feel is great in the hand. I'm really anxious to finish it up. So you're converting one AND having Freight Train build you a custom one?

Yeah I love the Oom-Paul shape as well. And have gone a little pipe crazy lately. I think I'm done buying new for now and just going to have fun converting Old Pipes. I had to have an elemental though and this one is gorgeous!

Ducky, that pipe looks great. I really like the way you did the stem. Can you tell me or show me what you have in the bottom of the bowl for a contact? Was just wondering if you were using a vapesafe like the EMP guys do or something else.

Hey gwb.......Thanks for the kind words......I don't use the vapesafe like EMP, which I believe is hard wired...? When I started to use a fuse I got some resettable fuses from Mouser Electronics - Electronic Components Distributor. See the pic. bottom left.....I normally use the 2920L300R ( the one setting on the penny)....

The top two pic's show an old pipe build, but the principal remains the same....I use a tension bolt cut down( see pic bottom right)....This is sometimes called a "Chicago bolt" or as some guy named Willy says a sex bolt ....The reason?....I like to have a little adjustment for different batteries.....

On this pipe I used the fuse shown on the top.....16R300GPR....why?...this time it was easier to use ....

I closing let me say....The vapesafe should work just fine (as a drop in?).....But, fuses from Mouser are about 50 cents apiece ....and are easy to solder.....

I hope this helps......edit....I bought ten of each kind because I didn't know at the time which would work best......

duckie.......

Also heard from Sam at Frieght Train mods today and he is about to start on my Oom-Paul pipe. Good day Today!!!

I almost bought that one. But it was my first pipe sale. I had to get a lot off accessories. Congratulations!

So can any one here tell me how these pipes are made. Do they have wires like a Silver Bullet or big metal strips. Seems like on this side of things we are more interested in style not voltage drop. Could be wrong.

Got my first ePipe mod and I can't wait to use it with my rebuildable mini b.

I an only speek for myself. But in my case it's all abou t the "feel" of the pipe. It has to FEEL right. Ofcource it zoesnt hurt if it so hapends that a certain pipe is also a work of art as far as looks are conserned, but if it has to be a choise betweene looks and xeel. Feel will win every time. Funktion is important too. But feel is what makes the decissions.

Puma, That "Poker" is exactly what I am looking for and hope to achieve some day. I'm curious, where did you find the switch? Did you fabricate that yourself? Is the switch wired to the lid's rim and then when you press it closes the circuit to the spring holding the battery?
Yes the switch is my production switches by pressing. Connect minus Pole on the battery
E-Pipe is the production, disain also. 1 x Battery = 2 ml liqudu

Puma, Duckie -- great new pipes, fellas! I love em.

Here's the new 18500 Hungarian:

I love the way this thing just rests on my chest as I sit back and relax... Amazing. :D I'll give it a C+ for execution. I didn't turn out exactly as planned but, hey, it works and I'm really happy that I pulled off the 18500 design. Vapesafe hard-wired at the bottom of this one. The first one I just soldered the positive lead to a magnet and drop in a Shortstop with each battery swap.

Talk about CURL! This Pyinma is crazy.

Cheers, folks. :toast: :vapor:
