Is the pkcell 1600mah 30amp battery a good battery for sub ohming? I recently bought this battery today since they were out of the Sony. Would like to know some feedback vapefam.

They are a great battery but as with any battery the lower the ohms, the closer to shorting. I know some people love really low ohm vaping but I personally don't go below 1.6
Thanks! I was kind of worried for a bit because I had no knowledge about this battery until today. I mean 30amps.. what's not to love. I'm trying to vape at like a .3 or .4
Considering it's a very-very off brand name, with no manufacturer web site, no manufacturer available data and no real world tests/reviews... no that isn't a battery I would personally buy. Don't buy batteries you can't research.
This reseller even states it's an icr chemistry battery!!! 18650 High Drain | Battery Pack Deals NO - that is NOT an acceptable battery for anything but an electronic APV with built in current/amp limitations. Even then, I could find 20 other batteries we do know more about that would actually be... safe in any device.

I agree with Rickajho. I looked for info and reviews on it and there's not enough information to be found on this battery for me to risk my face on vaping it.
Pkcell is a company in China that puts its brand on other manufacturer's batteries. It may be a Sony 18650VTC3, but I don't know that for a fact. I have seen IMR batteries labeled as ICR a couple of times before, but I wouldn't take the chance on a unknown reseller. Nothing to gain to make up for the risk.

I think you're right Vapoor eyes er. I didn't think of those because I don't use them.
I actually went to my local Vape shop and they told me that the next best thing to have battery wise was the Pkcell. They didn't have any Panasonic or Sony in stock. I kind of feel like I got taken advantage of. Rookie mistake I guess.
I googled them earlier today and the only hits were on the alibaba site so they aren't very widely distributed yet and I would be suspicious.

Efest used to good but somewhere along the way they fell off the tracks- some reporting they don't seem to be holding up as well as other batts. I know at one point they were very popular and therefore the most counterfeited battery around. As for my personal choice I like Panasonic or AW- doesn't mean other brands are lower quality but it's just my choice.
