Hey Gang :vapor:

Been awhile since I last posted here, though I come by to lurk occasionally.

My current rig centers around an Apollo SS VV VTube, which I've been using daily since it arrived in May. It's been rock solid since day 1, but I'm starting to have a few issues I was hoping someone here could help me with.

First, my batteries seem to be dying. They don't last as long, nor do they deliver steady power for as long as they used to. I know rechargeable batteries aren't designed to last forever, especially since these don't even seem to be "brand name" to begin with, but I'd like to find something that is safe, dependable, and will last me for at least the next 6 months before starting to drop off.

I know the AW's are good, as are the Panasonic's, but I'd like some input to make sure I buy the right thing. I'm looking to buy at least 2, maybe 3.

Second, the charger I got as part of the kit is, frankly, a joke. I hate having to rotate the battery in the charger to get it to connect properly, and since it's a single I can only charge one battery at a time. This wasn't a problem when one battery got me through the whole day, but having to swap out batteries and fiddle with the charger several times a day is turning into a headache.

I'd like to least upgrade to a double charger, preferably one with a bit more to it than the one I'm currently using (i.e. faster charging, charge meters, built-in protection, etc), but to complicate matters further, I'd also like for the charger to be compatible with ProVari batteries, since I'm planning on getting one when I have a bit more disposable income. I understand if this isn't possible, but I'm trying to pinch pennies wherever I can, and figured it'd be worth investing in a charger that'll last me a few years and be compatible with several different devices.

On that note, I need to do all this on the cheap. That's not to say I'm willing to skimp on safety, but saving even a couple of bucks is really important at this point in my life.

I'd prefer to buy the batteries and charger from Amazon, but if there's another dependable retailer with good prices I'd be open to doing business with them instead. However, I'd prefer not to buy directly from China, as I've heard horror stories about month-long shipping times.

Alternatively, I'm about ready to stock up on cartos again, so if there's an ecig vendor out there with a decent deal on cartos that also carries the batteries and charger I need that could work too.
Anyway, sorry if that was a bit long-winded. Hopefully someone here will be able to point me in the right direction! :toast:

You can also add Efest to the list of good batteries.

It is very important to have a good charger that does not overcharge your batteries. If the batteries are overcharged it WILL shorten the life of the battery. One of the best chargers available is the SysMax I4 Intellicharge. It will charge ANY rechargeable battery automatically without changing any settings. This charger recognizes the type of battery and charges it appropriately all on it's own. You will find the best price on Amazon or eBay, just type it in the search.

Hope this helps.

Hey, thanks for the input! I know Gotvapes is a good vendor, but they seem a bit on the expensive side, and I really need to do this as cheaply as possible.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think this is exactly what I'm looking for, it's a bit more expensive than I would like but I think the extra features will make it worth it. Amazon has a good price, so I'll probably buy it from them.

Anyway, I know there's a whole thread dedicated to batteries going on right now, but could someone let me know if this is what I need? The other thread has links to other merchants, but I'd like to place the whole order from Amazon. Just want to make sure these are the same thing before placing my order.

I use a pila charger and aw batterys. Both can be bought from provape and super t manufacturing. I have not tried the other chargers list as the pila is wonderful. Every battery iv used in it cames off at 4.1 volts. Iv left batterys in the charger for a good 10-15 hrs past its charged state with no issues..
