BTW – I haven’t yet found a juice delivery system I am completely happy with. Needs to be free of filling (often nails my lungs), be made of glass, metal or nalgene, work right out of the box, and taste great. I don’t ask for much!

So I don't have to go through all 29 pages here, could someone please post if there is a (decent) juice vendor who also sells empty glass bottles? The only one I'm aware of is Virgin but she only sells 1/4 ounce and I'd like to get a few different sizes. I know where to order glass bottles online, but I was hoping to kill two shipping birds with one stone and get some juice/bottles together.

Most vendors dont seem to carry Glass bottles do to the hassle of storing them in stock, which seems ridiculous to me seeing there juice vendors and anytime I have seen them there pricing is triple for what I can get them online,,, Specialtybottle.com and a couple other places seem to be the best bet since they specialize in glass bottles, they have a huge selection and much better pricing then juice vendors.

I havent found one Genesis Mod I have liked to date, they all seem finicky and whenever I use them they actually hurt my chest when I vape from them do to the wire mesh set up, and I've had most all of them, they all vape pretty much the same and I also dont get the nice thick white clouds of vapor I do from say a good 510 reg Atty.

Yeah, I don't think it meets my works right out of the box criteria.

I was wondering if this thread was still active. Haven't been here for awhile. I got my glass bottles yesterday and made the switch immediately. All the juice I already had mixed up went in the trash and I made all new juice and put them in my new glass bottles. Now all my stuff...juice, flavorings, nicotine, PG VG etc are all in glass. YAY! I'm still on the search for that perfect tank though.

Buzz is also using a Glass bottle in his VVPV top feeder unit, it has the best flavor out of any feeder I have, by Far, no matter what juice I put in it.

Who is Buzz? Where did you get this from?

I have questions

Mwa recently convinced me to switch all my juice to glass. So I went ahead and ordered 24 glass dropper bottles from amazon.

I put them in a bowl of dishsoap water.. dried them as well as I could. Sucked water in the droppers and spit it out. Then did 12 bottles filled with juice. Occasionally there would still be a drop or two of water left in the dropper. This doesn't ruin the juice does it?

I mean, these dont come clean right? I dont have (and wont buy) an autoclave or whatever. So what do you guys do to clean your bottles prior to use.

Also a challenge is finding a storage place for these. Before I'd put all my juices in a carryon bag.

Reason I switched was I looked at my juices which were in a cool dark place (carryon bag) from December 11 and they were murky and the bottles looked dingy and dirty and gross.

Another concern.. the dropper part does have a plastic piece that would come in contact with the juice when shaken. Is that a problem?

I can't just fill these from the packages right? I don't want to grow antennas or anything.

All my juices that have been sitting in plastic for some time now have completely lost their flavor. It's tragic

I just remembered that my juices I've left sitting in the plastic 3ml bottles has no taste if I screw it back on the REO. Very interesting. I'm glad I found this thread. This will end up saving me money (even with going strictly glass) because I won't be throwing out juice.

Not sure what everyone else is doing but I keep about 15 X 30ml bottles of eliquid pre-made in brown glass with the black cap on it(no dropper)in the frig(I know many will say a no no but it has worked for me for over a year) then I bought 36 X 8ml glass vials with the dropper on them from ebay for $20.00 delivered to my door 36 pcs 2 dram 8 ml CLEAR Dropper Glass Vials | eBay and I keep those filled, out on my counter for convenience . If you are a juice hog this method probably wouldn't be too convenient but I use 1-2 ml per day and i skip around with the flavors I vape so refills of the 8 ml bottles is about every 3 months unless it's a fav flav. I am careful not to suck up the liquid into the dropper bulb so I hope this method will do well in the long run. If not I will have to go to the black caps on those as well and just use the droppers to transfer liquid. So far so good though.

No, a drop or two of water won't hurt your juice. I often add a little water to thin out my high VG juices.

And, occasional contact with plastic (i.e. the plastic dropper) is rarely a problem. Issues can arise when the juice is in contact with plastic for a long time.

I store my glass vials in a drawer divider. However, I assume you're asking about carrying glass bottles around, which can be a problem. I usually use the smallest glass bottles for transport, and haven't broken one yet. I admit, I sometimes use plastic bottles for transit, but only for a short time.

I agree that glass is by far the best medium to store e liquid in. However LDPE plastic is considered safe for short periods, so smaller bottles that are used within a week or so, should be fine. If you buy larger bottles, that will last longer, then glass is definitely best.

There are quite a few people who do not like the glass bottles, preferring the plastic due to the risk of breakage of the glass if dropped. So it is a tricky one, although I tend to side with glass as the best option.

Don't have a Reo myself, but I don't think anyone has found an answer yet. There is a plastic called nalgene that is pretty safe (and expensive), but not sure they make a bottle the right size.

The blue and amber bottles are meant to keep out light, which can degrade some chemicals. Of course, the colored bottles are hard to see through. I use these for storing nicotine, but stick to clear for juices. Personal choice.

Clear glass will screen out UVB but not UVA. Cobalt or Amber are the best. I stick with amber due to the higher cost of cobalt. If I am keeping a liquid for short term and keeping it in the dark I would go with the clear glass. UVA light is the enemy.
