Platinum carts!!!!!!!!!!

this was just a plain white evo. i removed the paint and then built a steel / platinum mouthpiece for it.


mouthpiece was a pain in the ...!!!!!

might make a "how to" video if i get enough interest.

Can it hold a cartridge or it is only a mouthpiece that you use with dripping ?

the mouthpiece is completely built from scratch out of an old battery casing. the original plastic cart has been put on a home made lathe and then shaved to almost paper thin. this was then inserted inside the metal tubing. finally, all paint from the battery, atomiser and new mouthpiece was removed using the lathe and then polished.

Scott - how easy/difficult would it be to drill (?) a hole in this kind of tubing? Seems as hard as steel but as light as aly; know what it is? Some kind of alloy?

hi mate,

i really would not have a clue as to what kind of metal the casing is made from. as you say, it is very tough but does also bend pretty easily!
but if it was gently clamped in a vice then i would imagine it would be fairly easy to drill through.

Looks great.. but it always hurts my teeth when I bite on the platinum side of my pilot (which I do often lol!) so I prob would not get one to save my teeth from destruction.. they are F-ed up enough from breaking my jaw.

Very cool video, love you innovative ways of using a drill! I might do one of these mouthpieces for my pilot when I drain out a battery! Black Pilot carts should make a very nice touch as well on the end
