It's a little weird. Your own rules said within two dollars. You never said within two dollars without going over.

Sure, you could clarify if you wanted the rules to include "without going over".

For someone to be told by a supplier who is trying to drum up business to get f'd in German because they were asking if they won since they were within the two dollars as the rules stated is a bit strange, and seems rude - on your end not his.

Sorry. But this is the way I see it, and likely the way it appears to most.

I thought I could avoid this, but here's the point:

To me it was obvious that I had actually won 2nd prize. The "not going over" rule was explicitely limited to 1st prize. Verbatim. I tried to hint this at pop 2 times, and it looked to me he simply didn't want to give it to me. Ok. No problem, but then it makes no sense for me to keep on playing - so I decided to do a nicely worded retreat. That's it.

However, in return I'm getting a hostile response, 2nd-hand-accusing me of some wrong-doing I didn't really understand in the 1st place when it occured. Again... makes no sense to me, but that's where I am right now. So yea, great week for me on ecf. Life goes on.

Lets start from the beginning here.
I came here to have fun and give away some unusual prizes and have not asked for anything but for us to have fun. The opening post says no going over to make it more interesting and more difficult if you will, to win. Its all in fun!. I have said time and time again, without going over! so i decided to add another prize to have more fun and make it more interesting at my own expense. I never thought for a moment that not going over would be such a problem!. Now we are here. Honestly i would never call out another member thats willing to do whats going on here, as they are the one that feels like giving something away and asking for nothing in return, except to have fun with other members and to feel good. My intentions are real and I have 100% good intentions. If i looked at this like a legal document, I wouldn't do it!. tailand, for you to try to claim a prize based on the convenience of how you see it and call me out after i let you know my honest intention as the rules go, is what is weird here. ITS A GAME KID!(something to remember) I was rooting for you to win, so i clearly have no preference who it is. I feel you are one of the privileged ones that cry when things dont go your way as you see it!, and i think you're being a little hard on yourself and taking it out on the good guy giving away his gold and silver. This is just a game that takes all of 5 seconds to play and you call me out man!? If i may, i would suggest you spend some quality time and create something that gives back and helps others in some form or another. You will feel better and perhaps understand what it feels like to be challenged when its you giving your money away. As i have said the rules are the same as always. If someday you decide to dedicate yourself to a good cause, let us know, i would be happy to help. We enjoy sponsoring when we can. Good luck and cheers!
