Please add eGo to Model Specific area

I've had to search all over ECF for eGo info. There's alot of it, but is there an area for eGo/Riva type models? Maybe I'm just not looking in the right area, but if it's not a mod, cigar type or in the Model Specific area, I'm confused???

Well, an ego is a 510 type, but you see, now the Hello 016 has arrived, boasting a 1.3AH battery! (Yes, 1,300mah )

It's also a 510 type tho, so I don't know if they'll keep adding subforums for each breakthrough model.

The 016 kit uses proprietary atomizers that are built into the cone itself.

The cones are specifically for the Hello. But it is my understanding that you can also use a regular 510 atomizer on these.

Yes, I actually won a Hello 016 from a LiteCigUSA contest at their forum here at ECF

It IS a 510 type, I can use 510 atomizers on it as well. Those this are wonderful, I only need to recharge it every two days. But anyway, I understand the the ego is also a 510 type?

As the above members have noted, the eGo is a 510 type, so discussion about it should fall under that category.

I saw somewhere on the forum a vendor offering an 'Elegant', which appeared to be an eGo which could use KR808D-1 cartomizers without a 510 to 808 adapter. Unfortunately I'd already ordered the eGo kit as it comes.

I agree that there should be a category for the "Fat Batts" as I call them. They started with the 510 (eGO/Tornado, Riva, Hello 16/F-16, Maxx/T-Rex), now CigEasy has introduced the Kr8-based* Elegant (and I understand there will be others), at least one 801-based device is in the works, etc.

* It is also 901-based BTW. I'm vaping on it right now (901 atty with Elegant battery and cone).​

And I propose that there should be a model specific discussion forum for the mods (not the Modders forum, but for those of us who buy and use them). Perhaps even separate 3.7V and HV mod forums.

While you are at it, why not update that whole Model Specific Discussion set of forums. It's getting outdated and unbalanced. 479 threads in the "Joye" 510 forum and zero threads in the DSE201/102 (whatever that is) forum? Merge the penstyle models (we can talk about the pros and cons of each ... and acknowledge the Joye 302, BE112, and EM801), the pipes, the DSE901 and RN4075, and ease the glut from that misnamed "Joye" 510 forum (which, I am sure, discusses other 510s).

Makes sense. Nyet? And I know you have nothing else to do, Angus.
