I've had a vamo v5 for about six months and it hasn't failed on me yet. I usually aim for about 1.4-1.6 ohms with my Russian, so that makes up my adv setup. For a mech, I've got a k100 that I enjoy. I don't see the mech as an upgrade either, as I'll use both daily. I like to go slightly sub-ohm when dripping (about 0.75 or so), so I run that guy at home where I've got plenty of batteries to swap out, plus all my tools, volt meter, etc. I really prefer the power boost, battery monitoring, and protection of my apv when out of the house. If I use my vamo in 18350 mode the size is nice to carry around and just one spare battery will keep me going all day
