I'm a man without wealth, but taste...

Hey there! I am relatively new to vaping.. one month into it, and no reason to look back at analogs.

Was a moderately heavy smoker for 30 years... a few breaks here and there, once cold turkey, and once with the patch, but every time I had a major stress, I would revert back to smoking. I think that having found vaping, I can eventually wean off of nicotine, and, in times of stress, I will have the option to puff away on 0mg, and hopefully satiate that urge.

I started off with a starter kit from my local smoke shop, and recently ordered a Smok VV battery and Mini Protank online... and I have my eye on so many new toys. I get easily obsessed with new hobbies, and this one has already started to take hold. Luckily for me, my local smoke shop doesn't have very many PV options... yet they carry locally made, VG based juice with organic flavoring.

Anyway... just thought I would offer a little intro. I have been lurking in the shadows for a month or so, and it was time to step forward and say hi.

Howdy, and welcome! I did the same. It's nearly 8 weeks for me now, I had lurked the forums for a good week or two while I researched before I gave up analogs. Never looking back. was a 26 year PAD smoker, have definitely embraced this as a hobby/lifestyle, it has made it so much easier to forget about the stuff that drained my bank account and lung capacity! Love the folks here, they have provided tons of great info. Enjoy and congrats!

Hello, Welcome, and Congrats on your 1 month spawnsharks. Love your introduction and can relate. I "was", love that word, a 33yr 1.5 pad smoker until I got caught up in vape land. It's sucked me in slowly. So much to tinker with and as TXSundevil so much to embrace as a hobby/life-style to replace that "other" which drained us. Look forward to seeing you around ECF, Happy Vaping :vapor:

Howdy SS!! I'm just up the road from you a few miles. If you don't mind, what's the name of the juice shop you mentioned? I've been going to one up in RR and their juices ar OK, but nothing to write home about. I kinda like baked goods flavors (tastes differ, right?) and I'd like to see if they have something that I might want to latch on to.

It was funny when I read your post title. That tune was in my head. I was just out in the garage, kinda straightening up my car for a road trip tomorrow, and came upon a CD (Beggars Banquet) by the RS. That tune was rolling (no pun intended) thru my head as I was reading posts...and then I saw yours. Weird, right?

Hi, from a fellow man without wealth, who can now taste!!
Before you buy your next item(s), after your due diligence of web searching, checking these forums, etc...

Remember... Black Friday is coming, and I'll bet my 30ml of Tribeca that there's gonna be some mad sales...

Budget accordingly, YMMV

I shop at Smoke ATX on S. Lamar @ Goodrich. I bought my tobacco there when I was smoking as well... They carry "Austin's E Cig" juices. They are made locally in Austin with a 70/30 mix (70VG/30PG), and many flavors are organic.. and those not labeled as such are still natural.

Ironically, I just bought a car off Craigslist, and the guy I got it from is friends with the e juice guy... I might be able to get wholesale pricing!!! Fingers crossed....

I too love the 'darker, sweeter' flavors.. I like to mix it up, but my favorite so far is equal parts Dulce de Leche, Cinnabun, Espresso and Chocolate Malt. I buy a bottle of each, and go through a process of mixing them using an empty bottle and filling parts at a time in a 'round robin' pattern, then hot water steep all 4 bottles. It is outstanding.

M Type Premium, Heard a lot of "Bad" reviews on it, but I tried the recipe from the oficial site, but reduce the Bavarian Cream to 1/3 of what it said.....after steeping for 48 hours most of the "parfume" taste is gone, and there are notes of tobacco, nuts, and some sweet (From the bavarian cream, but not overpowering)...Any other good récipe?
