As I just posted in the V4L forums:
I thought that was odd as well. Maybe they're just trying something out, or doing free shipping and samples to say "See! We told you that you like sales better than samples!"

Sigh.

Given the feedback here & on the V4L forum was overwhelmingly in support of sales over freebies, I am also very confused.

Free shipping saves me $25 US. That's great if I want to make a small order, something new I just 'have to have' or something I'm unexpectedly short of.
But a sale saves me so much more on the type of order I usually make. Perhaps I have to change my buying practices, make more smaller orders instead of waiting for a sale of at least 35%.

"Extra goodies" are usually things I don't want/need/like, ie prefilled cartos or juice - I know what I like. Passthroughs I don't use, I have enough batteries to sink a battleship. I can't imagine what they could include other than more of what I order at that time.

What is going on here?

FIFY. Sigh. I just love having my/our intelligence insulted. As I said over on the Forum, "Candidate A gets 100% of vote. Therefore the election goes to Candidate B."

I really don't understand it either, Katz. Why bother asking us in the first place?

Exactly. I'm gob-smacked by this.

Something that has been raised on the V4L forum by the burgeoning number of Australian V4L customers, is that we are prepared to pay more for express shipping so we get our orders get here faster and are trackable.

Well I'll pipe in and say this, we will not be cutting off sales entirely at all, they will just be less frequent (still a handful per month). We just wanted to point out that people can get free shipping at any time now if there is not a sale running.

I'm just glad that I'm pretty stocked up right now. I hate to say this, but fewer sales may help me cure my vaping/buying addiction. I know though that when I need something, like more juice, I'll be looking for a sale!

I'm glad you responded to us - obviously we were all confused after the overwhelming indication for sales. Before you did, I was ... well, irritated. Why ask what we all prefer, then seemingly do the opposite? Now that I know V4L will still give us sales, I can appreciate the fact that you're helping us develop patience for the next one to appear.
