Keyzy, I explained before that I already gave my father the last bit of juice that I had, and that I am currently vaping usp glycerin w/ 0 nic along with some stevia to make it sweet. I am not a greedy person and would never let my dad suffer while I was vaping nice liquids. I had bluebulls yes and my dad and I went through the bottle incredibly quick. I gave him the last bit and cut it down to 12mg so he could have something but he dried out all of his filters that were loaded.

How about PMing me and asking for a little more information before you lash out. I never put a gun to any of your heads, demanding anything, or asked for the moon. You are insisting that I am some greedy person smoking some great e-liquid, but that's not the case. If you really knew me or my father, and the situation he and I are in.. I think you would have a little more sympathy and would probably really regret saying such things without any regret. You said you're out of here, so please stay out of here, you aren't helping my situation in any way. Please repreive from anymore comments, PM me if you need to know anything about my situation.

You have 10 posts, and you are telling Keyz, a long time PIF member who is much loved here to stay out of this thread?
Buddy you just shot yourself in the foot.

@zoo - perhaps you didn't read my post. Let me reiterate. I STRONGLY SUGGEST, that you reconsider what you have written before this gets out of control.

If you are truly trying to help your Father, your posts are not the way to go. As I said, ECF people are more than willing to help someone out, but are more cautious in giving. I KNOW that you can understand that.

If this thread gets closed -how will you be able to help your father then? How will you be able to regain trust and credibility with members of this community?

Peace

It is not the place of any member to tell another member to not post in a thread. That job belongs to the mods.

It is up to you whether or not to believe a story. You are free to post such belief in a noninflammatory way. Thia has actually been pretty calm.

I combined the two requests. There is no need to post a wan/need in more than one place in the same group.

Thank you for looking into the issue at hand, Jules. I can tell that there are some really good individuals in this group. On the other hand, it is obvious that it can be incredibly easy to get sidetracked from the primary objective of a forum of this nature; to help. I understand that you must be wary and look into the person's credibility, I just beleive that this should be done on a more personal note ie. PMing the person, not calling them out in the thread. And as far as everyone and their concerns about my Dad and his nicotine consumption.. please know that He and I have had several conversations about this and he knows that he should not be having large amounts of nicotine as he did when smoking 1-2 packs of cigarettes a day. My primary goal at this point is to ensure that he has something to vape so that he doesn't sneak cigarettes in and start bumming them from people that live near by. We all know how difficult it is to drop a heavy smoking habit. My incentive is to help him out in the beginning of this journey as much as possible, and make his transition to e-liquid without nicotine as smooth as possible. Sorry for everyone's misunderstanding and I hope that you all see that I am not trying to be rude or disrespectful towards anyone, just want to see everyone act in a civil manner and stick to the operandi of this group.
Thanks to all, and hopefully my dad's needs will be taken care of soon and he can continue to recover in the healthiest possible way. If you all knew my father and heard his story, I beleive you would wish nothing more than this.

Zoo,

I do feel sorry for you and your father. I know the meaning of being without money. There were many nights I cried myself to sleep 2 years ago trying to figure out how to get my next meal. I almost had to get rid of my little dog because I almost could not feed her.

PM me with your address. I am going to order some supplies and if I have enough to pick your dad up something I will get it and send it to you. THats if I have enough money as money is still tight but better than it used to be.

Good luck. I will pray for your father.

ummm...no.

Again. This is medical fact. I see that my advice is not popular here so I'm just going to let it go. Hopefully the op sees my post and takes it seriously. He really should talk to a doctor about his father continuing to use nicotine at this point. It is very dangerous. I'm out.

Sorry guys I have to agree with MachoKing on this. He will not die from withdrawal. Giving him more nicotine might kill him though. Being part of the medical community, it is a fact that nicotine does raise a persons' blood pressure, then the heart has to work harder than normal to increase the patients heart rate. Plus the use of nicotine will increase the chances of suffering another heart attack. Nicotine is a stimulant. At this point and time, I would believe a stimulant would be the last thing a heart patient should have.

Haven't any of you suffered from insomnia after starting to vape, or felt more hyper? I know I sure did, and still do at times. I am in no way putting down e-cigs. They got me off real cigs, and I will have a year of vaping in next month. I would give an e-cig to anyone that wanted to quit smoking, but a person just having a heart attack, no way!

At this point it might even be safer to let him have a few real cigs over e-cigs. If he is allowed to vape in the hospital, he will be getting more nicotine from vaping than cigs.
At least for his sake, if you do send him something, try 0 nic or the lowest nic level possible.

I know you guys are a loving and giving group of people. But please get some medical advise on this please. For your sakes, and the gentleman's sake. I would really hate to see you wonderful people do something you may regret.

Thank you all again for your concerns, and like I said before, We are trying to get my father off of nicotine completely.

I absolutely have to disagree with you that letting him smoking real cigarettes would be safer than him vaping a low nicotine liquid. With that being said, the idea of him being able to drop his nicotine addiction immediately and quit cold turkey is a long shot. After all, that is the reason why (i hope) all of us use electronic cigarettes.

My father is in incredibly anxious individual, and I have seen him without any cigarettes or liquid.. that is what gave me the desperacy to post on this forum. It is not a pretty sight, and the physical withdraw and mental fixiation he has on getting a cigarette gives him a lot of stress. His doctor understands that it would be incredibly hard for him to cut the cigarettes immediately. He has told him that he absolutely may not smoke regular cigarettes, and recommended a patch. When we brought up the e-cigarettes he said it was a good idea, as long as he began halving his consumption every 1-2 weeks.

Please keep my father in your prayers, he is an incredible guy and this is really taking a lot out of him, it's really hard to stay positive in his state but he is somehow finding the way to do so.

Thanks for your concerns,
Zoo

Thank you to everyone who is keeping my father in their prayers. Even if my Dad doesn't receive even one package, it is truly the thought and consideration on your behalf that really counts. He is remaining incredibly positive and we have come up with a concrete plan in order to ween him off of nicotine. For the time being, I will definitely keep all of you posted.

the nicotine addiction is something I would let the doctor handle,
the smoking habit on the other hand can continue with zero nicotine ecigs.

both can be dealt with, and separately, it's just that you don't want heart attack patients on nicotine, unless the doctor regulates, prescribes, and contiuously monitors the dosage, timing, etc.

(edit correction.... at least I don't, is what I meant. I don't want heart attack patients on non-prescribed nicotine)

If it is so easy to just go to zero nic or just quit , then why are u here and why are u using an ecig?

Thank's mini_art.. this is what I have been thinking all along. I would love to see my dad quit cold turkey as I'm sure it would be best for his health, as it would everyone else on this forum.. that being said, he is however only human and we all do the best we can. We are going to ween him off in the most efficient way possible. I'm sure we all know how incredibly hard it can be to rid ourselves of the demons within.

Thank you DC, i've begun talking to my dad about your offering, along with a plan as far as weening him off of nicotine as soon as he can tolerate. I'm sending you a PM about what we can possibly work. Get back to me when ya can. Thanks bud.

if u sent that PM it never got through, i'm double checking my box to make sure it's not full or nething. if u'r still discussing things w/ u'r dad that's understandable too i guess.

Shipping off a bottle of tiramisu, vanilla, strawberry and grape, all 15mg/ml, all 80% vg and all sweetened with sucralose since you said in a pm as smooth as possible.

This may be legit, it may be a scam. I honestly hope that if it's legit, we're able to do some good. I also hope that if it's a scam, he gets away with it scott free. How much is 24ml of diy juice worth? 90cents worth of nic juice, 1.20 worth of bottles, 50cents worth of vg/pg? So for less than $3 I may have just made someone's day a little brighter. Can anyone think of a better way to spend $3?
