Hey guys, I've been vaping for about 3 mths now and it is becoming so frustrating. I've only had about 2 or 3 days of good vaping out of 3 mths. I have a ego maniac from GP and I went from cartomizers to carts, I tried every mod out there, I just got some LR boge cartos 2 ohm, and I was very dissapointed. So today I was at the mall and saw vapor kings there and decided to try the tank system. So far not bad, but I want what I get with ptb straw mod just more consistent. If anyone has any tips on the tank system that would be great, or anything. PLEASE I absolutely do not want to go back to analogs. P.S. does anyone know how to prime these tank attys. Thanks.

I'd strongly suggest a REO from www.reosmods.com. I upgraded to the grand from a Joye 510 after 2 weeks an I'm so glad I did. All I do now is refill the 6ml bottle every few days and swap batteries daily. I still need to test a battery and see how long it lasts till it dies. I currently swap it right out with a fresh one every night. I started with a 1.5ohm LR510 cisco Atty and am trying boge 2.0 cartomizers.

REO Mods = no hassle vaping.

I use the Clearos and like them even though I have to go heavy on the flavoring. I was vaping a long time before they came out though and in between I tried every cart mod that came down the pike. The one reason I didn't throw in the towel while experimenting was dripping and like the RN4081 atty for this. Any atty will work though so I suggest you use the method until you find something you are happy with.

Whats most frustrating is when I do get it how I want it, which is atty and cart with ptb straw mod, it only works for a few hours. When I come back to it, its just isnt the same, inconsistancy is mainly my frustration.

Have you tried dripping yet? You don't have to buy any new supplies and it really is pretty consistent (and ultimately fulfills the purpose of the atomizer, it's what all the other methods are attempting to mimic).

edit: just read your last post. In that case you really might get on well with a self-juicing box mod like the Reo after all. I won't lie to you, vaping is just more work than smoking.... but the right equipment can make it much easier.

B cracker, I thought I'd want to stick to the smaller units myself, but found I just couldn't get the hit I needed. I'm using Mad Vapes Maxi Roughstack now, (They have an affordable kit) with dual coil 1.5 ohm mega carts. I get the hit I need. Carts hold lots of juice, and battery life is good. I have an EGO kit I just bought to use when traveling, but it isn't delivering the warm full vapor I seem to need to feel satisfied. Until I started using the stronger mod, and higher voltages, it just wasn't working for me. Once I started with these, I haven't had ANY desire to smoke analogs - even though there's a pack sitting right next to me.

Juice matters a lot too. I went to BackWoodsBrew juices (currently Malty or Honey Flue with a touch of watermelon) to give me a juice that's "thick" enough, if that makes sense. I also almost immediately went to 24 mg nic, as anything lower means I'm vaping non stop. Now I vape the way I smoked. five or six good hits every half hour or so.

I'm totally getting a REO or another bottom feeder to try too. The idea of no refilling sounds heavenly.

Good luck, and keep trying until you find your happy place.

Another thought - there's a place now selling WTA (whole tobacco alcoloids) that's just starting out. You might be missing some of those. There's a great thread devoted to the subject here. pm me, and I'll let you know once I get some if it helps when vaping at lower voltages.

I'm glad to see i'm not the only one that finds its more work, right now I chain vape 24 mg and those bottom feeders are something I might look into. It just seems that this is becoming way more expensive then analogs, I know its healthier, but.

Yeah, it can get expensive buying all this stuff just to try and find out what you need. Once you find "the one" it's all upkeep and juice, so the savings will start.

Good luck!
