Megan...........Maybe I'm weird, but I use my REO as a dripper when the bottle empties..........lol I'll change the cotton, put on different juices w/ just taking off my drip tip and then drip it that way.......Hardly any of the juice drips down the hole, but if it does, that bottle was going to be taken out anyway. I think I get the best flavor that way and know what it will taste like in my REO! ;-)
Nope. Not Weird. I drip on a Reo/RM2 all the time. With complimentary flavors, I don't care if anything ends up in a bottle I've already filled with something else. Have ended up with some really nice combos that way.

hey if you do want to avoid any cross contamination though, is the best way to just remove the bottle/insert an empty one?

You could also rinse out the tube with water. Get a bottle with a needle nose tip and just push water through the top connector. Thanks to Blotto for that one. Think he posted a pic in my REO thread.

I appreciate everyone's help SO much. It's so nice to have a place where I can come and ask questions and get real answers. This is truly a special place!

While I'm at it...how about some cleaning tips for when this thing arrives? With my iClear, I wash it and dry burn it when I change my juice. How should I proceed with the Trident? How often should you be putting in a new coil?

Youll always have it angle a bit unless both coil ends are even with the posts. You could try and make the angle a little sharper with some tweezers. Instead of it pulling off the coil, make it a sharp angle at the end of the coil wrap. Ill try and find some pics

Next time I re-coil my RM I'll have to post some flicks in the Get the most from your juice thread but, I don't use an angle. My coil is low, centered and level between the posts and built to 0.8 ohms ( dual 5/32 intakes other wise she gets a wee bit too hot for my taste) and my wick is longer than most. I played with the RM for a while and I feel I am getting maximum flavor and vapor production now. The trick is to leave the coil legs just long enough to make the proper adjustments. The longer wick serves to squonk less.

P.S Ceramic tweezers are a must for tightening up those coils....;)

PS just occurred to me I have a Trident Clone that is as good as an IGO the cap is a little tight but if you send me your address I would be happy to send it to you no charge along with some kanthal and cotton so you can take it to that class and learn to build on it.

What an awesome gesture S10! I raise my vape in tribute to you! :vapor:

I cleaned it thoroughly before I sent it and the cotton was boiled in distilled water so you only have to soak the cotton completely with Juice. The coil is 28g so when you want to change the cotton out carefully pull out with tweezers then dry burn the coil to clean it. then re insert new cotton I sent some in a separate baggie enough for at least 10 wicks. Depending on how much you vape on it the coil should last about 2-3 weeks as long as you are careful when pulling out the wick and dont pull to hard on the coil.. When you are ready to build a new coil and really want to tear it all down just take apart top cap, bottom cap and body and soak in Vodka or Rubbing alcohol then wipe clean super easy. The contact on the trident is copper so it really is conductive but ever now and again wipe it clean preferably with cape cod polish wipe but vinegar will do as well. Despite the trident being a clone it is really quite a good vape and I was able to alleviate the really tight cap and base by dremmeling out the body some so you should be ok.
Ps I also sent some 28g and some 30g kanthal not a ton but enough for 2 or 3 coils they are loose in envelope though so look out for them.

Thanks but I got that from Google lol. I got the RM4 but am about to order another REO with a RM2 DOH!

we. are. enabled.

I'm starting to justify a 2nd REO next paycheck.

the second will be less expensive. already got the batteries etc spare parts repair kit etc. right? right?

the thought of this thing breaking down on me and being REOless, even for a day or two, is terrifying LOL

It's not harsh at all, just very dry in comparison to the others, like when I hit the others my mouth is coated with juicy vape but with my castle and nimmy my tongue and mouth are dry as the desert.

Megan, First of all you are lovely, not weird. I also experienced the dry mouth thing when I started out dripping but after a whole lot of perseverance and a few choice words, I have now got it down to where my dripping vapes are as juicy as Lucy. Its all about the coil, air flow and the ohm's of the build to match the firing device. ;)

Yep, and he and Valhali (sp?) are making another one just for the Dibi and Reo. Calling it the Nuppin. Looks great and will probably be easy to work on.
Which will initially only be available for those who purchased a Dibi. It's been asked that no mention of the Nuppin be made outside of the official thread since it will be a lonnnnnng time before it's available to the public.

Looking pretty good MB!

Heres the coil I have on my RM4. Needs to be dry burned before I refill it.

I have dual coils reading .9 wicked with rayon. I've tried a bunch of coil positions and styles and at least I can taste the vape from my castle now. I can try other folks' set ups and same result and they don't get that at all...I guess I will just HAVE to buy another Reo
