I am sorry if its the wrong place to ask this question but ....

Ok, so I recieved my first cigalike yesterday and the throat hit and overall experience was not great, and I do not think I would be able to stay away from analogue's with them.

After reading on ECF and a bit more search, I am liking the Vamo V5. Please help me in completing my order to make it a complete kit. I know I need batteries and clearomisers. Anything else? Though please suggest any alternative if I should get something simpler for my first device.

Oh btw do suggest with links if possible, the specific batteries and clearomiser I should order. And in what quantity? I am in India so everything would be internationally shipped so need quite a few backups, so whatever the initial cost, I would like to not order again for 6 months.

For juice I guess I am going for HHV's dragon fire and dark horse.

I'm fairly new myself but I stand by Innokin. I have a VV V3 (with iClear 16's which are decent) right now with an MVP 2 and SVD on the way. The MVP 2 gets suggested a lot and it's pretty affordable. The V5 is great from what I hear too though. Tank wise, Aspire Nautilus or Kanger Aerotank are the big ones. I'd get a good amount of coils for them unless you're into building your own. Juice wise, I usually vape 3 to 4ml a day which is pretty average from what I gather and I did like you and stocked up on some juice for 6 months and have roughly 700ml. With that said, starting out I'd get small bottles and sample packs because it sucks when you buy a huge bottle and you grow to not like it (as your taste buds change from smoking). I'd also start at 50/50 PG/ VG and work from there as more PG is more throat hit. I also started at 24mg nicotine (which made me sick but I only smoked 15 cigs a day) and worked my way down. A lot of it is personal preference so there's a learning curve. HHV is awesome so far for me. I ordered a lot of my parts and gear from Fasttech and Mount Baker Vapor.

Try to stay away from Kits most the extra stuff like chargers and batteries they come with are crap.

Oh and +1 - Vamo! get one

I got a stainless vamo v3 kit from a popular auction site (you can probably guess which one) for $65 shipped. It came with batteries and charger and two cheapo ce4s (gave the ce4s away). Its been three months and im still vaping on the generic 18350 batteries, charging them in the crappy charger, getting around half a day before I need to swap and charge. I realize the accessories are not the best, but they work and do their job for the moment. Add a protank and come custom coils and I have a real vapor machine.

If you get a kit like this, do yourself a favor and get a decent tank to put on top. This kit would have sucked if I was relying on the crappy tanks that came with it.

I have 2 Vamos a 134 and a MVP2 in rotation now. I enjoy the MVP most for the simplicity of it. It comes with a tank and charger for around 60- A good tank at that. And you do not have to worry about batteries or it running out of charge. That and you can use it to charge your cell phone in an emergency

New as well. I have the MVP, SVD & VTR and agree with all that Kollin says

I've got two broken SVDs, both broke within 6 months of purchase, so I will have to disagree. I cannot recommend any product that will not last 6 months.

One failure I could overlook. Every product has the occasional defect. But having TWO break is unforgivable. After having taken one apart and had a good look on the shoddy assembly, I would definitely warn people to stay away from the SVD. The positive battery wire is only held in place with tape. In time the adhesive on that tape will dry out and stop sticking. When that happens it is quite likely that the positive wire will disconnect, and then unless you're comfortable taking one of these apart and rewiring it, it's broken.

Even worse, if that positive wire comes loose and comes into contact with the body then that will create a short circuit which could damage the battery or even cause it to explode.

No, I will not be recommending the SVD any time soon.

If I were you I would go with the innokin MVP variable voltage it is a solid mod with all the abilities to satisfy your needs they run about 50 bucks American

hmmm...have read about it and I see the convenience of the large battery and a good clearomizer but I would be smoking outside most of the time, and I really do not have the courage to vape out of something that boxy while people staring at me, :D

Which mod do you plan on getting? I am way more embarassed about using the VAMO than the MVP in publc. Not to be crude but....If you think people will look at you funny for using an MVP, imagine how they will look at you when there's a large robotic phallus in your mouth. :p

I'm sorry but my thinking is that "friends" that judge me based on the form of my E-cig are really not my "friends"
Strangers I have no control or consern with what they think.
My rule is: live my way like it or not.

hahahahaha, lol you are right. Planning to get the Vamo V5, But I would be smoking in my office premises, in the smoking lounge, so though somewhat strangers but they still would be colleagues. Also I am not able to see MVP 2 on Fasttech.

Thanks a lot. I guess I am going ahead with a lot of your recommendation. Btw, what is the differnece between protank 2 and 3?

Hats off to you but sadly I do not think I am made that way, :(
