5 drops may be too much (2-3 is usually plenty to get it started, 1 for top up after that) and you flooded the atty. This'll give you less a less than optimal vaping experience. I'm no expert, but how I tell if it's flooded is when I pull it "bubbles", and I get low vapour. Normally (don't have ego-t so don't know if it applies) I pull off atomizer, blow through it (a la carto) towards the battery end into paper towel a couple times, put back on and test. Clean up the battery connectors n such while you're at it too, software can pool up down there and maintenance never hurt. The other quick method I do is tilt the PV up...down...erm, battery end upwards around 45deg, and give 2 short pulls to get the juice back above the atomizer (don't tilt it too much or you'll get a mouth full of juice!). This doesn't fix the atty if it's very flooded, but if it's only a little flooded it should clear up.
