facts and comments:
-says 4.0 on the chimney and topcap
-single piece chimney, does not dissemble
-no improved filling hole on deckside; no slice into the base above threads to allow bigger hole (thus it can't be 4.3 or 4.1 (aka 4.4)
-post heights different one from the other
-no threadings beneath AFC ring
-seems to be the thinner chimney
-build deck seems to be 12mm
-juice channels seem shallow; less than half a circle grooves vertical and horizontal

what are we looking at here folks? is this is a clone or a very early fogger v4?

tnx

The contact metal used on the 510 connection might help narrow done your version?

Looks like a 4 from Focalecig, however the chimney section from them does come apart. The AFC ring is held in only by the bottom o-ring plate, so tightening this down to far will "lock" the AFC, and not tightening it down enough will cause a slight breeze to change your AFC. Watch out for shorts with this Fogger, mine had the positive insulator put on wrong and would dead short randomly when screwing it onto a MOD. Also, this one wicks better if you trim the cotton, but leave it long enough to exit the chimney section by a mil or 2.

i bought it a week ago. its mislisted and misdescribed on the sale site so no use linking that

funny thing is that no 510 connection pin was included; its just the bare threaded end of the center post that has the slot for unscrewing up to the deck. they are supposed to replace; have requested a copper pin

Completely didn't get that you didn't get any contact for it.

tayone415: how so; did the original not have a center pin for contact with the mod? was it just the bare steel post running up to the deck that the loose block screws onto?
I just got one a few days ago, it was said that the 4.1+ was changed to a copper contact, not sure about older models but I left a link on my previous post about tje 4.0.

If this is the same as I got here $20.21 Fogger V4 Style 2.5mL Rebuildable Atomizer - Silver. I have been happy with it, was frustrating at first due to the shorting issue, but once I got that fixed.... vapes pretty good. $35 is perhaps a little bit high for it, but if it's the only option available..... supply and demand raises the cost. Few things I need to ask, or advice you on before making this one... Have you built coils before? Have you verified your batteries will handle the build your looking to do? and is this your first RTA? If you answer no to any of these.... for safety, yes, send it back. This is a nice unit when you can build and wick it right, but I'd be lying to you if I would consider this an easy one to get right. It also will not handle sub ohming from what I've seen and heard, 1.0 is about the lowest total resistance you want to put on this. Prolonged time vaping at lower than this, I've seen people melt the insulator.

Edit---- One thing I will add, it's defiantly a more airy draw than others I've used. I just about close the air off to get it Kayfunish, if that's a word! lol

"people melt the insulator" thats good to know; with a dual coil i would think that the vapor would be too hot below 1ohm.

i have single, dual, parallel and chimneyed a fasttech kayfun so i dont imagine issues here; but thanks for watching my 6 DAVID1975.

by insulator we are talking about the plastic between the neg and pos connections at the 510 connector (beneath the connection pin)?

havent vaped it yet; DAVID1975 as considering returning it.

is it worth keeping for 35$'s and no option to get another in this price range where i am at?

Sorry can't find a good site for a 4.0. If you can send it back I would, I've had so many stupid issues with mine as far as horrible threading, so easy to cross thread if you don't completely baby it. It has issues seizing up so even if you had a 2 piece chimney it might not always be that way. Now that I got all the pieces separated I haven't tried to use it, I'm thinking of just selling it.

so wicking all the way down the vertical channels?

tayone; the threads are really good here.

its crazy that we cant find a pic of the original 4.0 because everything up to the 4.3 is a 4.0..

If you say the threads are good it might not an authentic? I read enough bad things about threading. What you can try to do is look for reviews or build tutorials on youtube, you might catch a video showing a 1 or 2 piece chimney?
