Ok i just ordered 4 dcc 2.5ohm cartos, 2x 901 2.5ohm atty, and one 5ml tank...

so i just got these in today, first things first. i opened up the tank package and noticed a little white plug in there, its similar to how those rubber mouth pieces are on the single coil catos... what is that for?

the next thing is i fired up a 901 (2.5ohm) and it seems a bit weird.... i put it on 3.7v and its not enough, i go up to 4.5v it vapes but no flavor, 5v same thing as 4.5, took it as far as 5.5v and its too hot....

i dont know whats going on here, what volt do anyone recommend? im using a lavatube if this helps...

please help!!!!

ty in advance

Did you get these 901s from value vapor by any chance. They are a good vendor but, I haven't been impressed with their 901s. Also what kind of adapter are you using?

i got this whole order from madvapes. the adapter im using is the one on their site... 510 to 901 silver adapter
i dont know if there is any gold ones...

It doesn't really have much of a purpose except to maybe block some of the juice from jumping back at you. In case you accidentally flood it.

The problem is the juice that your using. If it's a delicate flavor/dessert/fruit then it won't do well at higher voltages. You have to get something with a stronger flavor. Tobacco juices do very well at high voltage. 2.5ohms are better at 4.2 - 5V. So, that's not the problem.

Just add a little more flavor and you should be ok. I would stick to 4.2V or a little bit higher though. How long do you let your juice steep? I usually let mine sit for around 2 weeks. It really does help since it lets the flavors develop and you can taste them better afterwards. Since you DIY then there's no point of buying pre-mixed. Unless, "your tired of your own cooking".
