Can someone please help me put together a kit via individual links, preferably from one or two vendors. Please! Please! lol Being so new, there is way to much information, to many brands, and to many dang parts. I'm not sure what works with what. Like whats the difference between a spinner and an ego twist, or a vision vivi nova tank vs a smok vivi nova tank. They all look the same to me. Does the 3.5 tank vape differently then the 2.5 tank? Anyways, once I "think" I have it figured out, I start adding to my cart, only to find half the items are out of stock....I'm so confused, I'm getting frustrated and about to start begging. lol Oh! Wait! I am begging!!! :)

Everyone talks so highly of Vamo's, etc., but I'm afraid its to advanced for me. As embarrassing as it is, I'm used to men dealing with all the pieces and parts, so I never needed to learn anything about volts, ohms, resistance, amp limitations never-less punch my own carto. LOL All I have atm is my father who with the slightest bit of exertion causes him to gasp for air. I'm feeling like a child trying to learn how to walk again. lol Thus a mod, just seems a bit to complicated. I'm a show me type of person, but I'm sure with a little time, my knowledge will increase and I'll be able to figure out how to use one, then I'll look back and laugh at myself, cuz it was so easy. lol But for now, I thought maybe I could try something in-between, like maybe a Spinner or something. Idk I'm so confused, but I'd like to get more flavoring out of my vapes, something that looks a little nicer, and I do like the vapor, its kinda relaxing. :)

I'm grateful to the gentleman who sold it to me, as it got me to quit smoking all together. However, I have no idea what I purchased, so best to just show you a picture. Its kinda icky looking but it works. :) The battery says "Smok" but it has no voltage option. The tank reads "Vivi Nova" 2.8 and the bottom does not screw off, so I've had to use tweezers to pull the coil head out through the top of the tank, in order to, replace it. They gave me a few replacement coil heads, but I have no idea what ohm. I have no idea what charger I have, except that it works. lol So, I figured I should probably purchase a complete set again, but one that I know more about. lol I'm enjoy the size considering I carry it around with me everywhere and I really like the tank better then those smaller ones that come in the kits. I would really really appreciate the help!! If I keep going like I am, it's going to take me a year before I order anything. LOL

avoid the spinner, the threading doesnt work with most accesories out there. since you said ohms and voltage confuses you, i would just stick with the set up you have now until youve done your research. that is a very good beginner set up, since you can just vape away without worrying about all the complex things. once you have done your background research and that kit just isnt doing it for you, id recoomend picking up a variable voltage mod like the ego twist or a lavatube that you can find here :Buy E-Cigarette | Safety Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes also, i recomend changing out your tank, since it is either broken or knock off since you cant screw the bottom off. either a dripping atty or a small tank you can find here:Smokeless Smoking - Electronic Cigarettes — DCT Tank 3ml that link also provides a great instructional video on how to fill it.

What is it about your current setup you don't like? Or should I say what would you like to improve upon?

The tank in the picture is a smoktech vivi nova I believe they are the only ones with the colored tanks. It appears in the photo that the bottom is threaded so it should come off. I have never owned a smoktech one though so I can't say for sure.

The spinners have both ego and 510 threads?
Personally I have a vamo v2, agat2,EVOD,t3,nova,ego twist, spinner 1300, and other stuff..
ideal starter kit would be:
2 ego 650 twist OR
2 1300 spinners ( I'd go spinners but, new vapors are thrown off by size only to come back)
2 Kanger EVOD clearomizers
charging cable
wall adapter
all available in one nice kit here
Vision Spinner Tank Combo

well if I was going to buy a perfect starter kit I would buy the spinner/twist kit from MyVaporStore.. I would get 2 of the 1300 spinners whatever color you like lets say 1 pink 1 purple..then you choose the tanks I would go with the Evod bottom replacable coil once again in say pink and purple and it comes with a charger..
Vision Spinner Tank Combo

A good 1300 spinner is great but sounds but you may also like a VV (that way you can enjoy more variety - sometimes a person wants a lighter hit and sometimes a stronger hit). I didn't like the twist when I checked it out at a local shop.

The KGO is not nearly as "big" as the spinner but only a very slightly smaller size and now Hoosier has the VV (variable volt). That is the one I use most of the time but I also have the spinner VV.

If you are looking into getting an entire new setup, I would recommend getting a ready made kit. Many of the different types have some great kits (some with attys and carts and others with cartos). Personally, I like Boge cartos but that is just me - the tanks get a little too much condensation and the juice gets into my mouth which is yucky tasting.

I don't get into the ohms and other items either. I only pay attention to the mAh and volts (mAh for calculation of how long it will last between charges and volts for how strong of a hit I can get).

I have found that the numbers for a tank are usually referring to how much ejuice it can hold (I think 2.5 is 2.5ml and a 3.5 is 3.5ml) but I may be wrong about that.

If interested, I will try to find the link to the hoosier site and also the different parts and kits you may like.

Thank you, I think your right about the tank being a smoktech, but being unsure, I'm not able to order replacement coils online. The thread should come off, but it seriously doesn't. I thought maybe it was an older version, as I haven't found another tank that reads 2.8, but again this is all so new to me. I hope, I'm not being a pain. It can be rather difficult to describe needs or wants, when you don't really know what your doing. I have to start ordering online, verses a 45 minute drive to the store, as the store only sells basic kits, plus with my fathers health, he can not be alone for even a moment. Not knowing what I have, makes it difficult for me to know what I can repurchase for it, such as new tanks, or more replacement coil heads. I'm really excited about all this. I was an avid smoker for 35yrs and I could not stop, until now. Maybe I am making the wrong assumption and getting ahead of myself, but I thought by getting a spinner or twist, with some kind of voltage variable, it would provide more of a learning curve and hopefully a better vaping experience. Vaping experience meaning better flavoring, throat hit, etc. Its a small step, but I'm hopeful it will help introduce me to the concept of a bigger mod, while I continue to research and learn . :)

This is a fantastic kit! And Madvapes is a good vendor.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Besides, what you already have will work with that kit, as everything is either 510 or eGo threaded.

Really, you have 2 options. If you are using a 2.8 ohm head on your vivi you could get a new vivi, from somewhere that you know is going to be a Vision Vivi Nova so you will know what heads to purchase and have them fit correctly. It will come with 3 different heads. 1.8 ohm, 2.4 ohm, and 2.8 ohm. The lower ohm head will give you a better vape, however, battery life will suffer a bit. It may be worth a try, it certainly is the cheaper option. There are a lot of places that carry the vivi nova, it is difficult to know for sure if it is a genuine Vision Vivi nova. I know that Gotvapes has them and they are in stock. They might be a little more expensive than other places though.

If you want to go with a full kit I guess I'd want to know if you want to stick with the Vivi's or if you'd be willing to try another route. The EVOD suggestions above are good and they aren't that much different from what you have, but they are different, they each have their own little quirks. Vivis need to be tilted, EVODS will sometimes get a little gurgly etc.

Let me just say that the Vamo actually takes the complication out of all the "ohms and volts". The Vamo lets you do watts. Which means it doesn't matter how many ohms your tank or atty or whatever you are using is. It will apply the same power to whatever you put on it. So you don't have to adjust it when you change tanks.

Me being an electrician. When I started getting into vaping. I always wondered why they didnt just use variable amps or watts. Instead of voltage. It's a pain trying to use ohms law to figure out how many volts you should have for the ohms in your coil.

the 2.8 is what they call the mini vivi.....any vivi coils should fit it

No, the mini viva is 2.0ml, the regular size is 2.8ml. Regardless of tank size, you're right, the viva heads are the same & fit either tank. This is actually a very good beginner setup, I think the only thing you may want to try is a different variable battery.

Thank you ALL!!! You made life so much easier. You have no idea, how much I appreciate you taking the time to help. I don't feel like I've hit the LA freeway without a clue as to which route to take. LOL You've not only helped me to continue with the set I have, but to advance another step towards a richer vaping experience. Thanky!! Thanky!! Thanky!! I truly can't say it enough! :)
