Hello Everyone!

So after much research I've decided a Reo is a must have. Here's my list:

Reo ~ probably a Grand but can't decide on color yet
Reomizer 2.0 (I think I read they will be back in stock today)
Wire ~ 30 guage (?)
O Rings
Spare Springs ~ 2 or 3
6ml extra bottles

What else do I need? I know I need batteries and a charger too but do I need anything else from Reo?

I've been reading this forum for a few days now. You are amazing people over here. Thanks in advance for your help!

Great. Grand is an excellent choice. 30 gauge wire is perfect. Maybe get some silica wick (3mm) in case you don't like the cotton. Then a few extra screws for the Reomizer's posts. That should do it, but if I had forgotten anything the other Reonauts will soon tell you. Remember to keep us updated and post pictures!

List looks great. One thing missing that your gonna need is money for your next several REOs. Once you start using one you won't settle for anything else and your gonna want a back up 'case anyone ever jacks one outta your whip.

I'd suggest grands:)

I'm gonna say just get 2 now. Two thoughts are gonna go through your head:
1. This dude is crazy. A stark raving LUNATIC.
2. super_X is a genious. He just saved me like $6 in shipping and the agony of waiting for my backup. I can also pick 2 in the solid colors of my choice and mix the doors between them.

Both of the above are true but you'll just have to trust me on number 2 :)

Here's my mixed and matched BMF's:

Delrin button cover.

This for sure. And a couple of extra post screws. They're cheap and tiny in case you lose one. While you're at it, get some thicker kanthal as well, like 28g, which will be better for lower resistance coils/ bigger flavor and vapor. Again, we're talking about a couple of bucks.

Welcome!

A lot of us buy a rebuild kit, just so we will never need it. You know how that works if you have it you'll never need it, If you don't have it you'll need it. Or the day after you give it away because you'll never need it....you'll need it. I also went for 2 RM2's. Being that the wire is cheap I tried 28, 30, 32 just to see what I like best. I still haven't decided might have to get 100' of each

I agree and got a rebuild kit with my first Grand with RM2 (a talisman against needing it). Because I like to have a favorite coil in each Grand, plus experiment with different micro coils, I got three RM2s with my second Grand, one being a spare.

Many of us have found RTDvapor.com to be the best source for AW IMR batteries. You can pick up a charger there too. They're a little more pricey on the NiteCores, but their listing for them includes a 12VDC power cable, where the one I got from Amazon didn't. You'll want the capability to charge from your vehicle, boat, or RV in the event of a power outage. When you get your backup REO and RM2, you'll probably want to get a coupla more batteries and a backup charger as well.

Although you can use a 1/16" drill bit for winding coils, RTDvapor has the 16 gauge Luer Lock filler needles that make it a bit easier, as well as those two-battery plastic cases. Get one for each spare battery so you can carry a 6 ml bottle of juice and some cotton in the other side.

You'll also need a multimeter. The Cen-Tech RTDvapor carries is available at Harbor Freight, but only for a little less. I have one of the older models of that one (in addition to others) and it works well.

Hope this helps.

Hummmm I can already tell that I'll despartely need a second one. That Tesla in unsure's avi is drop dead gorgeous!

Super_x, you are brilliant, I never thought about switching covers. And thank you for being so considerate in trying to save me $6.00. I'll be sure to mention that to the husband when he sees the bill for not 1 but 2 Reos. ;)

Thanks for all the other suggestions. I had the button covers and screws on my contengency list but wasn't sure I needed them. But you are right, so on the list they go,

Thanks everyone!

My wife has never even seen a bill. Thank god for Paypal and she never even checks the bank account.

Ahhh the REO & RBA related purchases I've made that she isn't aware of...

And I'm not thru yet :) she leaves town next week and I'm planning on another VVG. But still have to be careful - my kids will innocently throw me under the bus if they see me with a new mod :)

actually, super_X is a crazy, stark raving genius...

i concur with all of the suggestions above, except only 2 Grands seems extremely low... the #1 rule of vaping is backups for your backups. :)

3 or 4 Grands seems about right. see? i might have saved you another 6 bucks :)

NicoHog, you just answered my next questions about where to buy my charger and batteries. Many thanks to all of you.

While you're at RTDvapor, consider picking up a Joyetech LR (1.5Ω) 510 disposable atomizer to carry in your change purse. Make sure to wash the primer out and wet the coil with a couple of drops of your favorite juice to keep it from rusting inside. It's a quick and dirty backup to an RM2 in the event of a coil failure. (You can carry 90% of a Q-tip or two, fuzzy side up by the tube, behind the bottle in a Grand for cotton backup).
