Hi, I really want to give vaping a go, but have had a bad time finding any hardware or liquid. It seems that the Canadian situation is getting worse too.

I seem to have been ripped off 100$ by one vendor, and am scared for it to happen again. Could any well experienced Canadian consumer give me any leads to thier reliably available (and reasonably priced) e-cig sourcesÉ Does ordering from china work well (as long as the potential for seizure is not too high I was thinking maybe the lower prices would make the risk worth while)É Excuse the strange É instead of a question mark, Vista does that to me sometimes.

Thanks tons

Aaron

Hi FuzzyL - welcome to the world of vaping. Sorry to hear that you got ripped off. That sure leaves a bad taste in a person's mouth. As far as your questions go re purchasing goodies, I can tell you that I have bought twice now from China. Am just waiting at this moment for Customs to release another shipment and don't anticipate any problems. As far as where to by hardware, do you know what model you are interested in? If you're thinking a M401, Sean at electronic-cigz.com is a great guy. He has a supplier forum here so you can take a look and see what people say. If you are thinking about the 510, Jack at HappyVapor.com is also another stand up guy. Also has a supplier forum here. If you are interested in the 510, let me know. I have a kit with a PCC (portable charger case that is a MUST for this model) that I am thinking of selling. Not because the e-cig doesn't perform every bit as well as it is supposed to. It's just not the e-cig for my personal lifestyle. I'm going back to the old-fashioned penstyle myself. Anyway, you cannot go wrong with either of these suppliers.

You have to make a personal decision as to what you are willing to risk, I guess. Like I said, I have had no problems so far ordering from China but that can change from order to order. There are no guarantees when you are dealing with Customs. If you order from a Canadian supplier, you pay more but they have the worries and hassles of getting things through Customs. You're home free on that account. So you just have to decide what is more important. One thing I can say from experience is that both Sean and Jack are top notch guys and are THERE whenever you have questions to help you through. That's worth a lot, too.

As far as juice goes, Jack at Happy Vapor only sells 0 nic juice so that probably isn't any help to you. Sean at electronic-cigz sells only Johnson Creek juice. It's a good juice just not a lot of choices on flavors. If you decided to order from China (or the US) the same Customs thing applies - no absolute guarantees of delivery. Probably but ... always the possibility that you lose sometimes.

No matter which way you decide to go, anything is better than the real thing!!

Hey man, don't give up hope yet! I ran into a similar situation as yours, in fact I ordered some parts a month ago from one supplier and it looks as if I will never get them (nor a refund for that matter).

But I can tell you that I have been ordering all of my parts and liquids from Canvape in the last month (on my third order as of today) and they not only ship very quickly, but if their site says they have something in stock they actually do. They also answer their emails pretty quickly, so you can even email them first to set your mind at ease before you order (thats what I did).

Vapesmart is also a great place to deal with and I have placed a few orders with them in the past, though I don't know what their parts situation is like right now. You can email them too, they also answer emails very quickly.

Both of these guys are in Canada and they offer real shipping rate too, which is nice.

Good luck!

i ordered my kit from china at e-cigarett-mart dot com and it came in about a week, no problem. prices very good, cheaper than all the places i checked out. i ordered my juice from e-cigarettescanada.com and happy with the juice but it's a little more expensive than vapesmart (where i am about to order some juice from). everything arrived in the mail okay.
