I ordered from savesmoker. since I saw that link posted in one of the deal forums I frequent. Then after an hour in the same thread there, I saw someone post a link to here. Had I known before I would have used the info here.

I bought this black DSE 801

they call this DSE801 (pen style).

Now please tell me how good/bad is this. Also please tell me if I can find good catridges for this elsewhere ? Please guide your new e-smoker (would be :D

Well I don't know how much this may help but I have the RN4072 which is the same basically as the DSE801. I bought mine from Puresmoker.com I would add that buying carts can be costly rather than using liquids and filling your own blank carts. The blank carts can be bought at puresmoker as well. I have read somewhere here that one is slightly smaller than the other but which is which I have yet to figure out.

Good luck and welcome to the forum

P.s. I love my penstyles btw as the batteries last 4 to 6 hrs sometimes longer depending on useage.

It would help if I would have read your post more carefully. lol I see it now. I am not famliar with them but you should enjoy the 801!

Thanks a lot ! Where can I buy the replacement catridges from ? or should I go the juice route ? I am a long time smoker so my hands are nowhere steady to fill up liquids :D Are they easy to fill up?
Thanks in advance. I know I am sounding stupid & excited even before they arrive but reading a few postings here well I AM :D

You are awesome! Now as a newbie my request would be which cart should I buy (link please) so I don't buy the wrong one! (Should fit DSE 801)

Also how difficult is it to use liquid & fill it?

They are easy for me to fill with the use of a needle with syringe. I smoked analogs for 20 plus yrs 2 to 3 packs a day.

I 2nd the opinion that you should buy the liquid. It does run cheaper and your cartridges do last for a long time if your boyfriend isn't biting them so hard that they break -_- haha.

You just put about 2-4 drops on the cartridge and that should do it, don't over fill. And some people recommend dripping straight onto the atomizer, I haven't noticed it cause damage but it seems that more smoke is produced for me when I use the cartridge, because it doesn't flood the atomizer that way. Or spray warm liquid into your mouth, unless you overfill it.

I'd give you some sites for liquid but I don't know the URLs off the top of my head though surely someone else will post them. If they don't I'll dig em up :D

Oh and I warn you against buying from ePuffer, their products are expensive and known to be faulty

PureSmoker.com - Your #1 Source For PV's, Parts, & Accessories! for blanks would still need liquid and syringe

These are the already filled carts

PureSmoker.com - Your #1 Source For PV's, Parts, & Accessories!

Syringe

PureSmoker.com - Your #1 Source For PV's, Parts, & Accessories!

Just make sure it states classic penstyle or DSE801 or RN4072 with whichever company you choose to use..

Dont forget your juice liquid as there are several flavors to choose from..

Very good piece of advice! Fortunately my hubby doesn't even smoke :D (other than my secondary smoke for years now!).

Please do recommend where to buy from & which ones to & which ones to avoid! I would avoid epuffer!! Thanks for the info again!

Be sure to take the time to watch the video made by Spikey called "Intro to Vaping". It's about an hour long but very informative and entertaining too. And it will give you all the basics you need to know. It's the 4th post from the top here in the new members forum. I'd post a direct link, but I'm still new here myself, and can't post direct links yet...

:)

If you decide to do your own liquid, JuicyLiquid has unflavored PG and VG in all different nicotine strengths. They also have everything you need to mix your own flavors. They only just opened and have limited stock at the moment, but when you're ready, they should be too. I have a DSE801 on it's way to me. I've heard it's a very good model. I've been using a DSE901 or Mini for the last 6 days. I'm relatively new too.
