ok so I just replaced the coils on my mini mad hatter and am getting a lot of burnt hits. It's the same exact build as before and it was perfect for me at 55 watts. It's a dual coil 24 g kanthal 2.4 diameter. The only difference is that it's slightly more centered on the airflow and before it was I bit more offset. When I fired it I got an immediate burnt hit at the same wattage. It seems like it's getting a lot more power/vapor I have to turn it down to about 25 watts to get any flavor. Oh and it's at 0.2 ohms just like before as well.
RDA Please help. Possible problem.

Could be a wicking issue. Or check your ohms as you're firing; are they jumping all over the place? could be weak contacts.
I noticed that at first the ohms read 1.9 and then 2.0 and that hasn't changed. I am using a little bit more wick than usual
Another issue could be "hot legs". Since you moved the coils to the center, one leg is longer than the other right? try looking into that as well.
Also, it could be that one coil is firing hotter than the other.

IF your reading 1.9 and 2.0 ohms and you were going for a .2 ohm coil, then you have a connection problem somewhere. A 2 ohm dual coil made of 24 gauge kanthal would be massive and pushing 55 watts or even 24 watts at that high ohm of a coil would be a lot a voltage. Check all your connections again.
