Please help us find this flavor

I'm reposting this question in the e-liquid section on behalf of Wolfshifter because 1) his post count isn't high enough to start a thread here yet and this section seems like the best place to look for answers and 2) I would really love to know the answer myself as well

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Yeti/Joye510 I bought from AltSmoke came with 5 carts of "Marlboro High" flavor. Those tasted like Apple Jacks cereal and quickly became my favorite flavor.

Then, I found out watching GrimmGreen's reviews on YouTube that I could get something called Special Blend #5 that tasted almost exactly the same. I bought 16 of the 30ml bottles. Yeah, I like it that much.

Anyway, after an email correspondence with Jane who sells it, I discovered she received it by accident when she ordered 555/State Express and almost sent it back. So she doesn't know what the actual name of the flavor is and the people that sent it to her aren't sure what they sent her.

I don't really like any other flavor near as much as I like that flavor. It has been THE liquid for both my wife and myself. It is the one liquid that has truly taken us away from analogues...

If anyone knows what the real name of the flavor is or can offer any alternative such as a way of making my own, that would be a godsend. I'm going to run out eventually and the other flavors I'm vaping don't quite match up.

Try the Aroma EJuice forum. In their Grand Opening thread, Apple Jacks is used to describe their Apple flavor.

I'm glad there's such an interest in this flavor. I was worried because I couldn't really find many posts or a lot of information about it, hence my original thread in the newb forum.

I'll buy around and let everyone know what I find. I have two leads to follow right now.

Also, JoyeTech sent me an email response saying, in a nutshell, that they only sell to distributors if I want the liquid that comes in the prefilled carts. I already knew that. I just wanted to know if the flavor was the same. I'm guessing from their response that it is.

Well, I'll check out that Aroma juice as well now. I'll keep you updated!

The marlboro juice I got from widowsbeadwork.com has a spice/cinnamon taste, like the carts that came with my yeti. I have two other brands of marlboro juice that taste nothing like that, but the MLB high from widow tastes just like the yeti carts. I like marlboro juice, but not that cinnamon tasting marlboro.

I just tried some pre-filled mlb high carts that I got with my widow order along with the juice. They have that same sweet spice/cinnamon taste as the juice, but it's not as strong. It's probably been over 20 years since I tasted Apple Jacks, but I guess that's a good way to describe it.

I've been trying all my marlboro flavors and the two that I like, and that I think it's supposed to taste like, have just the faintest hint of that taste. It's not very noticeable unless I'm looking for it, and seems to add a smoothing effect.

Maybe one of the big juice manufacturers has a different recipe for marlboro juice, with a lot more of that "taste". Or maybe someone screwed up on a big batch and put too much in it. One thing's for sure, the 10ml bottle I got from widow very much has that taste. So much so that I have to change atomizers when going to a different marlboro juice to get rid of it.

Yea, I just tried one of the carts that came with my 510... Its "similar" to janes.... I definitely prefer janes...but a reasonable match would at least be doable....


And it's funny, I don't taste apple jacks from the blend #5 at all lol....Not near as sweet or appily ( is that a word? lol)

Though this flavor is not exactly the same...... It is very close. Get the Rich variety of ejuice from Innovapor.com This is as close as I have come to that cartridge flavor. And yes, I do know exactly what you mean.

Well, sad to say, I just got the MLB from AltSmoke... Not the same juice that comes with the Yeti Kits.

I'll try both Widow's Bead and Innovapor. Thanks for the help!

Special Blend #5 is definitely my favorite. Less "robust/heavy" Apple Jacks flavor, more sweet cinnamon, but close enough to the carts. Though the prefilled carts, after vaping one of the backups I kept, I did notice that it comes in second for me. Mixed them together and they're perfect though. Almost exactly like Apple Jacks.

After what Jane told me, I've been thinking that maybe there was a mistake in the manufacturing process. That the liquid started out as being prepared as Marlboro, then got mixed up and part of the recipe for 555/State Express. I'm going to ask Jane if she's checked with her manufacturer to see if they can recreate the flavor if she sends a sample back.

I hope it's close to what we're looking for... I'm lowering my demands for this liquid. It doesn't have to be exactly like the prefilled carts or Special Blend #5. I just need a taste-alike. That's all I want...

lol Kreel..I have tried her toasted toffee..I gave it to my nieghbor lol...But, if someone loves a 555ish type of flavor you should sooo get Janes toasted toffee!..

Wolf, I have widows marlboro on the way.. We should all get organized and order all the marlboros lol.....I had thought for the longest time that Jane "made" the special blend herself..Because it said "special blend" lol

If I do try and DIY this flavor I think I would start with TW's unflavored nic ( it has a light clean tasting tobacco flavor with a slight peppery undertone) love it all by itself...Then add the best cinnamon e-liquid/flavoring I can find (not easy to find a good true cinnamon that is decently strong from what ive read)..Then also add a touch of the best Apple eliquid/flavoring.. See what I come up with..I'll let you know

Anyone have any suggestions on the best apple or cinnamon eliquids or flavorings? ( lorrans? capella?) I heard Cinnamon Roll by lorrans is apple/spicey... Not sure if it would be cinnamony ( is that a word lol) enough...

I've also tried Toasted Toffee already... I like it as a change of pace vape. My wife doesn't like it at all. I think it's probably one of those flavors Jane got back when she requested them to try and remake the Special Blend #5 flavor.

As for making it ourselves... I hope we can. We just have to figure out what crossing of flavors creates something close to the SB#5. Which actually sounds like it'll be kind of hard to do.

Let me know what you think of Widows' Marlboro. I doubt I'll get it until Monday at the pace my local post office works.
