Ok, so just got one of my closest buddies vaping, and she's loving it. I sent her kit plus samples of everything I had on hand, juice and carto wise, so she would avoid the 'new vaper funk' some people fall into where they spend a ton of money and can't find anything they enjoy vaping. So far, juices are a breeze for her. As for cartos, I'm a little out of my depth so need some advice from you all before I give her outdated info. She liked the resurrectors, and dual coils ok, same with boge. But, surprise, surprise...She LOVED the elderly CE2's I sent her. I am NOT a CE2 person at all, and I know there's tons of new stuff out now, and I think the ones I had were kinda outdated when I got them, way back when. So... what I need is suggestion on best TYPE and VENDOR to grab some updated CE2's for her. I know there's boatloads of vision stuff, buds, fluxos, clearotanks, stardusts etc out now that she might like more, but the issue is we need to get her about 15 of these things, so she can really settle into it and check out her juices, and I know she can't pay the $5-$20 a pop for the new clearo tank things when she needs that many. Hope that makes sense. Plus she's been vaping all of a week, after 30+years smoking, so I don't wanna overwhelm her or give her too many options, or something she hates.

So, anyone got a suggestion for inexpensive CE2 type creature that performs as well or better than the Royal Smoker ones that she's enjoying? And perhaps where you get yours? If you happen to be in love with one of those pricey new deals, would love to get referrals on those, two, since I'm sure she'll want to grab one or 2. She just can't afford 15. lol I've got the major hookups on cheapest places for stuff I use... I just don't have a clue on ce2s.

Thank you so much! I'd just hate to refer her to the wrong thing and derail her efforts. ;)

so those gotvapes fluxos are basically just Ce2's? I hunted there, but the only thing I thought was similar were those light up led things. lol I'll definitely send her to gv, cause I do want her to try a ton of the different vision tanks, and grande deals, also, as well as the stardust, eventually. But just didn't want to hit a brand newbie with 53 different things all at once. THRILLED to hear the fluxos are pretty similar. I thought they were, but not having tried them myself, i was hesitant to suggest them. At least that's a reliable place she can get them right now. And yeah, of anyone, I'm confident Chris wouldn't sell em if they were impossible to use or just performed badly all the time. I've been hanging out at gotvapes forum cause they have such great contests, and really been blown away by how detail oriented he is in his offerings. And then backs UP the products if anything truly unexpected happens, like the problem with the new tox kits. I had to get a refund on tox from a differnt vendor, but just turning around and buying again from Chris once they're fixed. lol

BTW, I asked this question in another forum, and someone told me totally wicked is running one of their crazy rolling sales (have to watch for item to be at a good discount, they change rapidly) on the ce2 stuff just in case. Looks like they've got the XL ce2's, smokeymizers, and the... i wanna say its a stardust type tank, but not 100% sure on that.. The stardust type looking things are going for well under $20 for a pack of 5 if you catch em at a good discount, and the smokeymizer/xls are super cheap also. I sent her there, since she needs to grab a BUNCH of these things just to have on hand, because she's still trying out a ton of juices, etc. The $5 -$20 a pop thing just won't work for someone on a budget when they're starting out, experimenting, and burning thru cartos. lol But figured I'd mention that to you, since maybe something appeals. Thanks so much for your message! I've been meaning to ask how those fluxos are, but just hadn't gotten round to it.

Cartomizer Systems

Wait a sec... those fluxos look exactly like the Smokeymizers and the XL Clearomizer Ultimates, and are in the same exact colors and ohm ranges... guessing they're the same? Also called "ultimate Ce2's". If that's the case, I have tried them. If so, you've got a HUGE sale on them happening at totally wicked. lol Just have to grab the ones you want when they're in the cheapest sale. Tons of people are getting 5 packs for 45% off range. Right now, cheapest 5 pack is $8.88, but I just saw them at 10% cheaper than that a moment ago. RUN! lol

Gotvapes was the about the First Retailer to sell the RS/MiT CE2.

They sell them under the name Fluxermizers.

Maybe I'm not seeing it right but the CE2's look like there $12.99 for a 5 Pack. They also arn't the ohm that I like best.

If I can save a buck or two. That's Cool. But I like to give my money to gotvapes because they are the ones who have worked with RS/MiT to improve the CE2 line. Even if that means paying 1 Dollar more.

Also, as you may have noticed, gotvapes has a Great Sub-Forum. I don't see owners of Other companies helping users on the level that gotvapes does.

BTW - I have about 18 Five Packs left from my last order. I don't think I will need many CE2's for awhile.

Yup, all makes perfect sense. After 3 years vaping and more than a year on ecf, I actually very recently found GV forum when I started following the issues with Tox kit since i had one from a different vendor... amazing people there overall. I'm not a clearo fluxo user, but was under impression just from chatter that they're sorta hard to hard to find in stock sometimes. Just passing on link for sale since I'd just been told about it by someone else, and from what I've seen, a whole lot of the population at ecf does need to count their pennies. I personally find those crazy yo yo sales frazzling, but was hunting for significant quantity to help a new vaper on an extremely conservative budget, like myself. And forgive my confusion... I literally didn't realize they were the same product until most of the way thru my message. lol I'm a carto tank girl, all the way, and have limited experience with ce2/clearo/cleaortank products. I did however send her a number of links to GV products yesterday, but as she needs a truckload all at once to try out juices, we've got no choice but to go bargain basement all the way. That's how vaping works for people on crazy budget. Don't always get ideal, but what you can afford. We were aiming to get her 45% off...worked out to a lot more than a dollar in the quantity we were looking for. More like $30 or $40''s savings... which incidentally, is an entire months vaping budget for me.

I've run into a lot of crummy vendors in the marketplace. A LOT. But I've also run into exemplary ones who will go to the ends of the earth for their clients. Annette from Virgin Vapor comes to mind. As do Josh and Jess from The Vapor Room, and Rob from Good Prophets. From my recent experiences, I'd say Chris from GV falls right in there with the best of the best, they just don't happen to carry my vaping essentials, like Resurrector cartos and organic juices so I haven't run into them until recently. They've got loads of stuff I'd love to try if i had the budget, I just usually don't have much wiggle room for non essentials. lol I do have a wish list a mile long and wide, though.

Yeah, I have seen the Range of Retailers and Service also.

Had one Retailer have a Hissy Fit, a Complete Melt Down, when I received a DOA Battery and wanted an Exchange.

Had another Retailer with the same problem, Sean with electronic-cigz.com , He not only sent me a New Battery but sent me an Extra One for my troubles.

That’s why when I have a Good Experience with a Vendor, or have done many Flawless Orders, I try to go out of my way to buy from them again. Kinda away to Reward Good Service.

I stocked up on CE2’s because there was a Wicked Rumor going around that Once the CE3 hit the Market, the CE2’s were going to be Phased Out. Turned out the Rumor was False but what the hey, I got a Good Price by buying 150 at a time.

If your friend is just starting out, and I know this might sound strange after all the Talk about CE2’s, I would set Her up with a eGo and some Blank Boge 2.0 Filler-Type Cartomizers.

The reason I would start Her on Filler-Type Cartos is that there is No real Learning Curve. Just Fill and Go. CE2’s can take some Fiddling and or Mod-ing. Although many People love them right out of the Box, for some they don’t work right.

And some don’t have the Patience or Desire to do a few Simple things to make them work. Couple that with Sever Analog Withdrawals and it can get Ugly.

Filler Type Cartos are Fool Proof. They won’t give you that Killer Hit that a CE2 will, but for a Newbie, Ease of use might be Better until they get a little more Experienced.

omgawd.. great minds think alike! that's exactly what i did. Got her ego, buncha juice samples, pack of boge 2.0s and even a 3 so she could see difference, pack of 2types of ce2s, few resurrectors, and even thru in an old ego grande hot pink giant carto thing. lol And on her first juice order, she got two of the smoktech 2ish dc's to try. Hasn't tried the dc's yet, but so far she likes the ce2s over everything else. And you know what's hysterical? SHE's tried the fluxo's, too! I didn't realize they were the same, but that's one of the kinds I sent her! Incidentally, also the one she loves! rofl

So if she likes the dc, I'll hook her up with clear dc's...that's easy enough. But if she likes the ce2 best after those, she'll stock up on some on sale, then I gave her link to gotvapes product, and a few other more exciting things if she wants to get creative with a vision tank or something. I just can't believe I spent 2 hours hunting for ce2's yesterday and didn't realize those fluxos were the same thing. They are hard to find! lol At least I know she'll be taken care of at GV, for sure. BTW, selling batts and surprised when one randomly doesn't work? That's nuts. Occasionally they just don't work. lol Must have had a low tolerance for stress or something. You're well clear of that place, fo sho.

I sent her a link to a number of gotvapes products, that was one of them. Not sure she wants something that large, though. She's brand new, like a week or so vaping, so guessing her tastes will change a bit, but right now she's kinda getting a kick out of refilling and all that jazz like any new vaper would. Thinking that'll change pretty quick, and she'll want a big ole tank for convenience. lol
