1- Yes
2- I'm gonna say the XL. It has better flavor and better vapor IMO, with one downfall. The XL burns a lot, or easily. If I had the wicking down pat, and no leaking, smaller mouthpiece, it would be the best atty yet IMO. The LR atty has decent flavor, but great hit. The shear size of the bridge on the XL allows for more surface area to be vaporized at once, allowing a GREAT hit, but cooler, so its more flavorsome. I didnt expect it, but Im getting massive clouds from the XL, and it burns through some liquid fast, more so than the LR. This is MY experience, but I would wait for others to verify, as this is my first of both atties.

I don't really notice too much difference in flavor between the two using standard tobacco Dekang juices. The vapor production is definitely heavier to me...maybe another 50% increase. I have noticed that some of the fruit type juices that I had set aside as nasty tasting are back in rotation as they taste better out of the XL. I guess it depends on your flavor type.

I had been down to almost exclusively using the mega cylinder atomizer, putting all other PV combos on the back burner for about a month. Then, my only mega atomizer died abruptly and I went back to LR 510s out of necessity. Replacement Megas should be delivered any day, and I expect the 510s will again be put aside as spares.

I don't guess that's a direct answer to your question. Just saying, IMO, the mega atty is better.

I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
I much prefere the eGo XL atty for flavor and vapor. I haven't been having anywhere near the trouble that others have, most of the time they function great. The only flavor I get a burning taste sometimes is the Keoke coffe DIY, and if I draw right, I don't get that taste at all. They do have a longer break in time though, *shrug* it's worth it.

Depends on the flavor and the battery running it.

And since taste is subjective, it's really your call.

I think Pineapple juice in a LR atty is horrible, but great in a carto and so-so in a XL. But my Cuban Cigar is great in a LR and horrible in a carto, but good in a XL. And every combination in between. (All are used with an 18650 battery, high drain 2400 mah)

This is for the EGO:
What does juice taste like when using a low-res atomizer? What is different about it compared to a regular atomizer or an XL atomizer?

and as far as the ego goes...I just bought some great juice that tastes much better with a reg. atty. The l.r. atty on an ego IMHO simulates high voltage vaping. I put my 6 volt device on the shelf because of the ego. I like smoke flavors with l.r.and bakery or fruit flavors with reg. atty. Good choice on the ego. BTW I don't know anything about the h.r. attys. Don't own any and don't plan too.
