been smoke free for a couple weeks now, but am now getting frustrated....I need some help. Ive purchased the fifty one starter kit, then the victorytec freedom. They both seemed ok at first but now it appears battery life sucks on both and throat hit not as good as disposables. So ive spent some money already. I would like to buy one more but it needs to work well. I think i like the idea of cartomizers better then seperate amotizers and carts. ( please tell me if im wrong about this or if you like the second better and why). I also think i like the idea of a button on the battery so i can heat it up a little before i draw from it, (does that make sense). So i need to know what to buy. I dont care if its a pen style or cigarette style or other. I just want it to work and work good so i dont get frustrated. Please steer me in the right direction. There is a lot of info here but i dont quite understand all the lingo and numbers etc. please if possible give me name and model number and website to purchase. I know im asking a lot and i thankyou tons in advance!!!! Have a super sunday night and thanks again. Actually now that im thinking about it maybe a auto battery is better? i dont know. Just real confused. thaks

eCigarette Kits for a Kgo great deal, cartomizer kit.
or
Kits for either an ego $50 or epower $45(cheap to replace battery). The ego and epower aren't carto kits, but she sells cartos on the site. You get an additional 5% off there automatically at checkout and she'll include a sample of awesome juice. Ask for House Blend. :)
All three of these are 510 kits, with batteries that will last all day.

I too bought the 51 Trio crappy starter kit. It was the worst money ever spent. I have been reluctant to order anything online just because of the over-whelming selections. I picked up a Nicotek Metro kit from my local Kangaroo gas station 4 days ago and a bottle of regular e-liquid from my local tobacco shop. The Metro worked well beyond my expectations! The throat hit is great and the cloud from exhale looks like I am smoking a cigar. Best $20.00 I've spent in a while. See if you can find one.

Welcome and tiny has basically steered you in the right direction . I myself have had two of those PV's and while they are all fine , I have to give the E-Power the thumbs up , for affordability and the low cost of battery replacements . And yes carto's are the way to go , unless your direct dripping into the Atty . So when you do order , be sure to include a few drip tips as well . These can be used on both the carto's and the atty's . Good Luck .

Tinybells has some good suggestions, good kits. The ones that do not look like analog cigarettes work better, the battery lasts longer between charges, hit better. Most people like to start off with these sort of kits and then maybe later move on to the mods (the big guns) which there are a billion different kinds, but the ego type kits usually work great to start you off until you really know exactly what you are looking for.

Most people do use cartomizers and then use atomizers really only to drip to try new liquids. There are many many kinds of cartomizers out there but in my opinion, they all work better than a cartridge. There are some cartomizers with filling in them and a heating element in the middle. There are some (CE2 clearomizers for example) that have a heating element and then a wick that goes up to them. I really prefer these because i can see how much juice is actually in there.

You should get one with a 510 connection because then you will have lots of choices of devices (like the cartomizers, atties, etc.) that will work on that type of fitting.

In my opinion, you are very correct about wanting a manual, push button battery. The automatic ones are not sealed and if you leak juice, you could kill your battery. Go with manual.

I started with the S51 trio that I purchased from a local tobacco shop.... you know... "just to try it". It got me into the e-cig train of thought, and wasn't too overly expensive (try a mall kiosk sometime! NOT!). So, it worked OK (basically like an 808 battery with a 510 connector on it and a different atomizer).

That's the good news, BTW. The S51 trio is compatible with a 510 connector so you can use a 510 atty/carto on it. I'd stay around 2.4 ohms with it (guess) but it is still usable.

I agree with the above about fat-batts like eGo class stuff. You'll be happier in the long run with some battery life. Keep the S51 around for the form factor if you miss it. The super-minis only last a few months due to frequent charging anyway. Get your $$ worth out of it. I can't comment on the victorytec freedom, never used one.

Both of those kits are great deals.
