Hey there everyone. I'm new to vaping and I just purchased a brand new eGo-C Twist yesterday. Im a little familiar with it since a few friends of mine have had them before. To my disappointment after filling with e juice and using it for the first time there was a horrible burnt taste. I've vaped with this juice before so I knew there was something wrong automatically. I've tried all the basic quick fixes I found online but nothing has worked. The burnt, harsh taste won't go away. Am I missing something? Please help! Thank you!

Sounds like you didn't prime the wicks before you started vaping it. After you fill the tank, you should take a few drags on it without hitting the fire button. You want to see some air bubbles in the tank... I usually took no-fire pulls until I got a very slight gurgle... that ensures that the wicks are wet. Then just vape on... If you try that and it doesn't fix things, then you'll probably want to swap the coils and repeat the process. Let me know if that doesn't fix it for ya...

*edit to add*
Also... turn the voltage all the way down at the beginning... then turn it up to adjust your vape to taste...

The Twist is just the battery. Not the delivery device. What are you using on top of the Ego Twist to heat your juice?

Carto, clearo, what? Sounds like a combo of having battery turned up too high and / or coils on your delivery device either not being primed correctly or just a bad coil. Out of the box, you can often get a bad coil.

I'll second what the pp have said! I'm only about a month in, and have learned the hard way on a lot of things. I recently fried a brand new clearo right out of the gate by not letting it sit long enough (it was a thick juice, and I didn't do a few primer pulls first.) All I tasted were nasty burnt hits :(. After some reading, I realized my error, and I tried rinsing it out thoroughly with water and letting sit to dry overnight. Unfortunately, it was done. It was a disposable, without replaceable coils, so in the trash it went, lol.

Try cleaning it out, or changing the coil. Also, I have no experience with vv yet, but turning down the volts sounds like a good suggestion. Hope you get it figured out :).
