my first build, i cant figure out what watts i should use i got a 6 wrap 24g kantal 3mm coil japanese cotton, i dry burned it then put cotton in it at 14w is what i dry burned it in, what do i do and what watts should i keep it between

I would start low, say 18w, hit it and move up, etc... I'm using the 1.2 ohm coils at 15 to 18 watts on my subtank.
Try it, there is no perfect setting or magic number.
14 don't do it, try 20. Keep going till it tastes good.
When it tastes Burnt its too high.

That all depends upon what YOU like.
Assuming that your build is safe for your battery, start low (8 watts) and increase the wattage in small increments. At a certain point the taste/flavor will seem burnt. Then back down the wattage to the point where the flavor and vapor are what you like.
I rarely vape over 12 watts on a regulated mod, but I'm considered a Tootle Puffer (low wattage, high ohm).
