PLEASE READ: Tracking information is not always available within the first few days - please be patient, some orders can even be received before they show tracking information. *** Typical transit times from Mainland China to your country are 3-4 days via air and a further 2-3 days for processing through your customs. My order was handed over to customs in GUANGZHOU on 11/18/2009. Since then no further tracking has been available through either EMS or USPS. Ordinarily I would have received my order by now. I imagine it's the Christmas rush. At least I hope that's what's causing the delay. :(

unfortunately as you can clearly read from my post beneath yours,
this is only get worse before it gets better, now with the buildup to xmas.

Please everyone, remember, this is not something new,
this is not something special for ecigs,
this happens every year all round the world,
everyone, everywhere, is sending packages to loved ones ,
and the mail services and customs are just gonna wade thru it all slowly as they always do, they will get there, just be patient, Please---

Definitely big delays on the China side, my order was placed on the 26th and is still in Guangzhou...I think my last EM order had actually reached the UK in 4-5 days last time.

I expect the same sort of delays on the domestic side as well though. You'd think they'd have the decency to delay Christmas until we vapers had all of our goodies wouldn't you...? :mad:

Yes, I know guys, but as I said in the other post ----
it happens every year, and it is not exclusive to ecigs,
it is just that time of the year---- everyone sending packages
all around the world ------

Maybe my order got tagged "return to sender" and they have to re-pack. My order was never released from Guangzhou. It got handed over to customs same day it shipped on 11/18 and that's the last I heard. Even with the Christmas rush, it should show some kind of movement during 12-13 days... <sigh> I'll be patient, yes I will.

it is a bugger that all these packages are stacking up in customs,
and I truly do feel for you, we have had a few laughs here on this forum,
and we have become friends over this short time,
you have been so patient, and understanding of these damned shipping delays,
I can't tell you how much I appreciate that you are understanding the problems of holidays, combined with customs not being the fastest in doing their work sometimes------
you are lovely people and I wish I could bring it to you on wings of the wind myself--------
but alas, we must all wait for the official ways to be used, ------
I do have everything crossed for you both-------
hence all the typos, which I had had to go back and correct here -haha--

Fast fast fast reply when contacting EM Customer Service.

Eastmall is sending out a new order! Wow, I was floored. Although it has not been returned by shipper so far, rather than cause any further delay they are preparing another order for shipment. You could have scraped me off the floor when I read that. How is THAT for customer service? :)

I don't know why you would be surprised at this level of service, blue

as you know we have always answered all queries, quickly and as honestly as we possibly can,
we always follow thru on questions,
and come back quuickly with the answers,
and if there is a problem -- our customer service is excellent,
and our shipping department is always there to take care of their end as well-------

so it surprises me, that you are surprised,
as far as I can tell you received no less than 4 answers to your query in a day -------
and then after further tracking and enquiry on our end---
a reship was issued----- all in one day -----------

Now , that is service -------:)

and it is the Standard of Excellence that the East Mall Team always strives to achieve.

I absolutely agree. Fabulous service. I hadn't seen the messages until I checked my account again today for tracking number to try once more. I've never had to contact customer service before so it was an entirely new experience for me. I was thrilled as you can imagine. Kudos to EM. :)

I ordered a shipment from eastmall on 27-Nov-09 and it cleared shipping in China on 30-Nov-09 but since then I have been waiting. It is now 9-Dec-09 and there has been no movement on the package on wither EMS or Canada Post :confused:, and I'm starting to get a little worried I'll try to be patient but to be honest my patience is wearing a bit thin.

this is a bit unfair------
you are bareley even 9 business days out of our dispatch rooms here --

even at the best times of year for shipping we ask you to allow 10 business days- and at this time of year we ask you to be patient and allow double that ------
Please make the effort to read the posts I make here -
I do put in a bit of time to get this information in here for you.

Thank you for the rapid response, but I don't think you fully understood my message. My previous message was simply put out as a 'feeler' to see if any other ECF members are experiencing the same problem I am. The post was not meant to demean Eastmall in any was as a business. The post was meant to express my worries with the shipping company. I do not expect to get the package for some time to come ( something like 14-20 days total) but after barely 9 days I am kind of expecting for the package to atleast be in Canada since your messages does say 3-4 days shipping from mainland China to your country, after 9 days it should be in Canada at least right? I apologize if my previous message has come across as slightly hostile, but its main purpose was to see if anyone in the U.S. or Canada is having the same problem.

Hi Mike, you asked about other folks experiencing delays...the answer is yes, my own package is caught up in the pre-Christmas chaos, it hasn't moved since the 27th November.

My first order from EM several weeks before this was with me within 10 days, I currently have orders pending from other Chinese based sites...all these sites are warning of big delays of around two weeks.

I am based in the UK, but an American guy and myself were discusing the issue on another thread, his was also delayed from the 27th, but his package arrived today I believe...so things are moving, they are just moving very slowly.

Hang in there, EM are a great company to deal with (read the thread I've linked below if you want an idea of just how great they are....)

Not many companies would do this IMO.

(I know it's a killer waiting for any PV related stuff...it's like Christmas every time you recieve an order isn't it?)
