I'm new to vaping, barely a month in. I started with a few different disposables, and now have a 510-T kit thanks to VaporPhoxxe, my local B&M shop.

Obviousthey are starting me off right, but I'd still like something smaller that I can keep tucked in a jacket pocket and use throughout the work day. I've read enough here not to go with the Blu, now matter how good it looks, so I'd like to get some advice here.

So far I'm leaning most strongly to the Halo or Volcano ecigs, based partly on design and partly on what I've gleaned skimming the forums here. I would like to get some opinions, though, on what I may have overlooked. My criteria are:

510 threading and polarity
180 mAh or better in a mini length
Can be manual or automatic, since I already have 280 mAh manual batteries for the 510T
Black or dark color (burgundy, purple, blue)
10-12 mg nicotine
Small USB charger

Blu- or Volcano-style charging pack a plus

As far as flavours go, I used to smoke Nat Shermans, but would prefer not to have an all-tobacco flavored starter kit if available. I'm growing partial to vanillas and also coffee and citrus.

The halo is 808.

There really aren't any good 510 minis.

The best minis would be the halo g6, smoove, bloog and smokeless image volt, with smokeless image being he best choice. They are all the same exact battery, however smokeless image is the cheapest, uses horizontal bottom coil cartos and has customer service that is second to none. The smokeless Image volt has 2 battery sizes for their mini. 210mah for $13 and 320mah for $14. They are available in a kit.
The 220 will give you about 2-3hours of vaping and the Larger 78mm will give you 3-4hours. The batteries are 3.6-3.7 regulated. The cartos are all refillable. I get about 20 refills on a carto.

The volacano is like the blu. The battery is only 90mah and only lasts about 30minutes

Here's a video on smokeless image if you are interested.

I just got my Volt from Smokeless image, the batteries come in two sizes, i think a 68 and a 78mm? The 68 in white looks like a 100 cig. Very passable. The 78mm is longer by a little bit, but the extra batt life is worth it imo. I have it in black, and let me tell you...it's incredible. This is my first real vape, having tried only the disposable V2 brand e cig. It produces great vapor, throat hit, and its very high quality for the price. You really cannot go wrong with a Volt Pro Starter kit. I have 2 options for charging ( A usb Charger and a portable case that holds 2 batteries, charges one after the case itself has been charged, and can charge up to 2-4 times I think, and also holds 3 cartos, much like the Blu personal charge kit )
Everything so far has been great, and there is a 15% discount coupon thats on the coupon page here on ECF you can plug in to get quite a bit off. Free shipping on the pro kit too since its over 55 bucks ( comes in at around 60 bucks )
But yeah, I love this thing, no problems whatsoever. Havent smoked an analog since i got it. I Really only use the longer battery for another reason as well- I dont care for the shorter one because I got it in the automatic configuration where all i have to do is inhale. I like the manual version way more, i feel it is just better in terms of throat hit and control over use, but thats just me.

I have a halo G6 kit and its great. It is an 808 thread and its easy to find cartos and clearos for it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with mini kits. I get about 3 hours out of the battery with heavy vaping. I have three G6 batteries total and the pcc so I always have a fully charged battery available. The G6 is a great on the go kit.
