Please recommend me a cheap mod to get me through the next 2 weeks.

Hey guys, I've been running into problem after problem with my Lavatube, and Im sending it in for store credit and waiting for the stainless steel one in hopes for better build quality. Problem is that I need to send the mod in this week in order to get the store credit, and I regrettably sold my backups because I needed the money. I need recommendations for a cheap 510 mod which either uses 18350 batteries or is rechargeable. Would really like the cost to be under $20 as well. I have a shipment of 3.0 ohm boges on the way, and one LR306 atty. Someone please shoot me some recommendations. Would a passthough be the way to go?

Madvapes Gripper is $20 and will hold those batteries with the bottom unscrewed one thread. I believe Hoog posted that he sanded down the ridge on the bottom cap and the 18350 fit fine after that. It would also be a handy stealth mod in the long run.

yes but you may not be able to get the adaptor out after you put it in there.

I think the AW IMR 18350's fit fine, which is probably what you've got for the LT. Good luck!

I don't see the 5v passthrus around much, but if you get one, I believe they're true passthrus and should best be used with a wallwart or usb powered hub, not your computer.

I third the vote on the Gripper.

Even when you get your replacement, the Gripper will still be good for those "Keep it in your pocket" moments of stealth vaping. I originally bought it because I was breaking too many Cartos with my Roughstack and wanted soemthing that gave a little protection and cover for my carts. I haven't been disappointed.

I use their suggest cartomizers at 1.7 ohm, along with my clear cartomizers.

The Clear cartomizers are a tad small but their 510 extension at Mad Vapes make it fit nicely.
