1. In comparison, For those of you that just vape now and have quit analogs entirely. Do you still use nicotine- If so,
A. When did you start vaping --- Yesterday
B. How long had you been smoking analogs --- 40 years
C. How long did it take you to quit smoking analogs --- I have quit a few times in the last two years. I had pneumonia in Feb., '09, and COULDN'T smoke. I used a nicotine patch, and quit for five or six months. I felt great, but not good enough to stay away from cigarettes. Since I got my e-cig yesterday, I see no need at present to bother with tobacco. I'm waiting for my lungs to clean up, for the nicotine stain on my fingers to disappear, etc.
(If you continued after getting your e-cig)
D. Based on your memory.. What MG of nic did you start with and give a brief synopsis of your progression. For example, I started with 36MG and in 1 month , I went to 24 MG. Now, I am working myself down to 18 MG because I have primarily been smoking tobacco flavors to make sure that I am not tempted for an analog. ( at least, I figure that I would be a little more grounded with the tobacco flavors at first.)
I also want to lower my nic, not only to get away from nic but, I tried several candy flavorings that tasted bitter because of the nic. I eventually want to go down to 0 nic and especially am looking forward to several candy flavors pure taste rather than being corrupted by the nic juice. --- I'm using what came with the e-cigs - Marlboro 24 mg. It seems to be OK; tastes about right, delivers what seems to be a similar quantity of nicotine. Personally, I see no need to reduce my intake of nicotine. This is going to be like wearing a nicotine patch... forever! Flavors? Not for me. If I want chocolate, I'll buy a Hershey bar. If I want mint, I'll buy some mints.
2. How many of you vape heavier than you used to smoke analogs and give your explaination of why you figure you are a heavier vaper, otherwise. ---- This is a good question, but I must answer it with a question: When you're "Vaping," how do you know you're done? It's not like the e-cig burns down to the filter. I take a puff on mine every 10-15 minutes; just one. If I get busy with something, I'll revert to my old habit of stopping to "light up." It's weird, but I'm sure I'll settle into some sort of routine.
Bottom Line: I'm off tobacco for the foreseeable future. I'll do some experimentation with different liquids, maybe buy a USB charger for the car. (I'm a bit concerned about battery life. I drive long distances for a living.) I really appreciate this forum! I'm sure I'll get answers to all my questions. Many thanks to those who make this all possible!
Best Wishes!
