I went all in with BH and got a 130ml jug and subsequently another couple.

It has been my go to vape for the last 3 weeks or so but over the last 3 days it just isn't hitting the spot. I am putting it down to my tastes changing so it has been put in the holding jar, you know where you put those juices that are on time out as I call it steeping as other call it. I hope it returns to it's former glory for me as it was "the juice" that saw me put cigs to one side permanently.

No matter what I try I cannot get it to recreate those vanillary/spicey undertones that entranced me.

I know that my tastes are going to change but this wasn't part of the deal lol

I had the same problem with a batch I got a few months ago. It was nothing at all like the original Bounty Hunter I was vaping last August. That graham cracker taste was completely gone and all I got was vanilla from it for the most part. And I know it wasn't my taste buds changing or anything like that. I compared it side by side with my old bottle and the smell of the new one was watered down, as was the taste. There have been others who've started threads about the same problem. Needless to say, it's probably not your taste buds that are to blame. I don't know what happened to Bounty Hunter, but it's not Bounty Hunter anymore as far as I'm concerned. I will give it one more try, if it's ever in stock again

:end rant:

x2. BH was my all day vape for several months. the BH from the most recent order i received from NLV (probably 2-3 months ago) was NOTHING like the BH i had grown to love. a good buddy of mine has had the same experience. not sure what the deal is, but i am afraid to buy another bottle in fear that i receive the same boring vanilla flavored liquid that i received the last time. gene, bring back the original bounty hunter!

The same thing happened to me . I bought the big jug of BH and it was great for a while. At the end of the jug I just couldnt make myself like it . It changed or I changed. I have not been buying big anymore. I was going to get some more BH and see if it was me or the juice ,but its never available when I have checked the site. I will say that I had the same thing happen with Bobas. I loved it and after about two weeks of wailing on it ,it just didnt taste the same .I wonder if anyone else has had juice fade?

^exactly. BH has a predominant vanilla taste that i get every time. most times i get the wafer flavor too. but not always. from time to time i wont taste the wafery / light tobacco aspect. but then sure enough, it returns. i find that it depends on what i eat and drink that day. certain things i eat and my level of hydration affect how the juice tastes.

As far as BH goes, it was definitely the juice and not your taste buds. Like I said, I was able to compare the old and new BH side by side and there was no comparison! The older one had that graham cracker and slight tobacco going on, and the new one didn't. That's before AND after steeping: no change. Just vanilla and watered down taste with the new one. I was thinking they watered it down to make some extra cash, but that's just speculation (I'm not accusing Gene at all).

thats really strange. i dont see why someone would take a proven cash cow and just change it all of a sudden. seems like that would hurt business rather than help it. if theyre looking to generate more cash, all theyd have to do is tack on a buck or two to the price. a lot easier and makes more business sense than coming up with a new flavor altogether. who knows for sure...this is just a speculation.

maybe your new BH tasted different bacause its newer than the older one. ? maybe they'll never taste the same because both are continually aging? i dont know. sorry to hear your BH tastes different. maybe your new one will evolve. hope so!

Na, I bought the new one back in December. Every couple weeks I'd compare the bottles and it never changed. The old one smells (to me) like vanilla and a strong graham cracker presence, and the new one is all vanilla. Just really really sad... I know it wouldn't make sense business-wise to water it down, and I'm certainly not accusing him, (I hope it doesn't become a rumor now because that's not my intention at all) but it's just not the same at all to me.

What I did do is add some graham cracker flavor from Vapor Room to a 10ml bottle I transferred some of the new BH to. It helped, but it's still not the same :(

sorry to hear that. maybe they shipped you the Vanilla Strait instead of BH.

I would've thought the same thing, but with that order, I ordered the vanilla strait to try it out in 10ml, and they're similar, but not exactly identical. I do plan to give BH one more chance if I can ever find it in stock. I know there's no risk cause I'm sure I'd get my money back in a hurry from the classifieds.

Both my wife and I vape BH most of the time and we go through 130ml in about 20 day's. From jug to jug it has been the same every time.. Maybe you just got a bad batch ?

That's what I'm hoping for. I'm not alone in this though. I've seen numerous threads talking about the same issue. Did you have BH prior to September of last year? The last "good" bottle I had was from last August.
