I was about to order a plume viel clone from either fasttech or angelcigs until I read some of the user reviews.... apparently they are not very good, all kinds of screw issues, threading on the posts being stripped or bad out of the box. has anyone bought one and had success? if so, from where???????

I got mine off ebay, and it's pretty nice. It supposedly by Acerig though I didn't get the fancy wooden box, it came in some cardboard box I've never seen before. Mine came with 2 set of screws for the posts, 1 set didn't fit at all which I imagine is what they were originally sending out to a lot of people, the other set fit fine.

One complaint about mine is that the delrin piece for the drip tip is too wide to where none of my drip tips really fit snug. The drip tip also came with a giant o-ring that was too big to fit into it :?:. I switched the o-ring out on it after I tore up the original trying to get it into the delrin piece with another o-ring so now I can use it though it's way too loose for my liking. I'm also not really a fan of the center post moving around when I tighten the screws on it. Despite those few complaints, once built it does vape quite well, very good flavor and lots of vapor, I personally still prefer my Magma though.

Yet another negative review :( this makes me consider waiting.

Don't get the one called vume bell on ebay from voxvapes. My top cap doesn't come off, and it's all one piece... It's a pos... I have ordered one from a group buy on Facebook, that has a SS base (not gold) that's been getting good reviews, it should be here tomorrow, and will post back up

got mine off of ebay... no logo... it's terrific. no issues. holes line up - center post is snug... totally my go to atty at the moment.

You wouldn't happen to have the auction number or seller? Do you know who made yours? (Manufacture)

I was going to ask the same question. Got the seller's name or auction number?

I prefer authentic but if I am going to buy a clone, I would prefer that the manufacturer didn't copy the logos.

I got the Acerig version. Only the first batch had the screw/posts problem as far as I know. I've heard nothing but good about the Acerig's since the issue was fixed.

I'm not much of a dripper either but it is cool playing with the different airflow controls. I'll find the ebay seller I got it from and post it here.

I have the Acerig 1st run with the messed up screws. They sent new ones and it's been perfect ever sense. I've vaped it side by side with the original and you really cant tell a difference at all. Seriously. The engraving is a little different and the positive post holes are bigger on the original... but it's a very nice clone.

Here's where I got my Acerig plume veil. Works perfect. Good quality. 6 extra screws and 3 (I think) spare o-rings. $28

I picked up my Acerig clone at a local brick&mortar and I absolutely love it. Flavor is great and it can really chuck the vapor. I had no issues with screws or getting it to sit pretty on my Maraxus. If you do pick one up (and I highly recommend owning one) make sure you take the time to tweak the delrin cap for airflow. I didn't touch it when I first started messing with it and wasn't getting the clouds I expected. After a few minutes of browsing forums/YT I realized my mistake lol. Fresh build and a few extra seconds getting the right amount of air up top and she is hitting good and clouding gooder lol.

The flavor isn't as strong as it would be in my Magma, but it's damn close. Gives it a solid run for it's money. 10/10 would buy again

Dredge, Would you mind saying what you paid in a B&M? I have a friend that doesn't want to wait and we may go look for one tonight.

I have product tested about a dozen plume veil clones. Get the $30 tobeco and thank me later. It's worth 10 of the other crappy super cheap versions I've tried out.

I have a tobeco on the way, 101vape has them for 14.99. I've heard that tobeco did a pretty good job with these. I got a acerrig from eciggity that was allegedly the upgraded model. What a joke.

I have the Acerig one, had to get my first one replaced because they drilled one of the negative posts too high and there were no threads for the screws to catch. Now that I have an updated one with the new screws, I can still say: I hate the gold plating. It makes the negative posts a pain in the ... to work with. Infinite is coming out with the PV 1.2 with a SS deck so I'm hopping on that.
