Mother's Milk? To bad it's not Aroma. I didn't know they had repeat customers. Their WTA tastes (and has the effects of) dirt, although I kind of hope they get an approval so maybe other WTA will do so also.

I have not tasted their regular juices, to be fair to the company I guess but BLEUGH.

I agree. I don't think that aroma will. Pretty sure jerry is closing up.

Om registered with the FDA. Liquid leaf/wholecig already closed ages ago

Will Kai's Virgin Vapor Survive the FDA?

As you may know, the vaping industry is facing an extinction level event in the form of the Premarket tobacco Product Application required by the FDA which is due on September 9th of this year. The outlook is grim and, undoubtedly, 95% of the flavors currently on the market will no longer be available after that date.

However, the news isn't all bad. Kai's Virgin Vapor is officially announcing that we are committed to delivering a PMTA to the FDA by the deadline! We'll only be able to rescue 10 of our flavors (if we are lucky) but we hope to continue to be around to serve you into the future.

Check out our blog post for all of the details and to find out which of your favorite Kai's Virgin Vapor flavors have a chance at survival...and which will be forced into early retirement come September 9th!

I'm glad Ohms is going for it, I don't hate their WTA (although maybe that is not in the cards either) although I'm quite glad not to NEED WTA anymore. They are a pretty fun maker, or they were.

It's so depressing, even though I DIY but I have a feeling juice prices are going to skyrocket, they are going to HAVE to in order to get by. Sigh.

It's all just so ridiculous & maddening. We've got a burgeoning industry that helps people be healthier, provides jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities, and does no harm to consumers. Yet our own government is, literally, destroying it. No one would object to reasonable regulation but this is criminal. Sorry to rant but this is all extremely upsetting.

Personally I think ranting should be encouraged in this thread. It is just... ah.... well when you rant at anyone be it a politician or your spouse, they immediately stop listening. Well with vaping they stopped listening a LONG time ago.

It will return. Like the second coming of weed, it will return. I will happily vaping my antiques until the second coming of tanks, with external batteries and other strange stuff. The pod people can pod away until that time. No thanks.

It's kinda sad though got a feeling most applications will be pods, the manufacturers appear to feel like, the public "likes them" seems like there is a new one on the market every day.

Looks like vendor mixed fruit, candy, and bakery flavors are really going to be gone once the FDA steps in and controls what is on the market. That's not an issue for me, but lots of adult vapers enjoy flavors. DIY will become necessary for them.

i must have missed something

i know several states restrict flavours, but i have not heard anything fda related since the brief hubub after the thc cartidge debacle? but that was more politicians than fda to my knowledge?

Sad part is all these units submitted for PMTA are expensive for what they are and all internal batts. So glad I have stash of replaceable batt mods and RTA's. They maybe the dinosaurs of vape very soon.
Haaa! Thats funny bc before all this craziness, Ive bought like 30 of my fav rebuildable RDTAs (have since been discontinued, but some still out there) & despite my latest conversion to pre-made juices (bc they've gotten so much better) - had made my own for near a decade! Only worry for future now, is availability of liquid nic. Flavors are easy enough to find anywhere (they're all food grade) & not sure about future of PG avail - but VG is also sold at Wlmt for Pete's sake! Just such a shame that ppl that know nothing about vaping has targeted it bc of kids vaping things they never should of (& the rest of us mostly don't) decided to blame an innocent industry vs taking responsibility for their actions & telling their parents the truth! ....e, if it wasn't vaping, it'd only be plain ol' gross cigs - like the majority of the rest of us started off on! Betcha that the FDA wouldn't have gone after the tobacco industry with as much gusto as they are now with vaping! It's all BS as far as I'm concerned... been vaping nearly a decade with NO NEGATIVE effects, incl getting sick like I did actually smoking!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not only the availability, but a hefty (read: HEFTY) federal tax. Best to start DIY again, IMHO, while you can still get nic and get it at an affordable price.

The owners of the USA want to tax nic such that you would pay over $2,000 for ONE LITER. There is no reason to believe that they won't because they care mostly about making tax money, not actually banning everything. They don't actually care about your health, they mainly want to get as much tax dollars from your "sinful behavior" as possible.

Edited to add: The proposed tax is actually almost $3,000 per liter of 100mg nic base - $2,780

[Sigh] I've never considered myself as an old lady... only pushing 55 this yr

55 isn't old. You can have your ice cream. 80yo California Democrats who eat gourmet ice cream from $2000 freezers while hiding in their gated mansions while their constituents are out of work and homeless are the problem.
