Pocket friendly RBA?

So i started dripping on my IGO-W about a week ago. I am now ruined.

My carto tanks and clearos just aren't cutting it anymore, and this leaves me with a bit of a problem. I tried to drip on the go, but it's just too much of a hassle. My RBA leaks a tiny bit out of the airholes since I'm up and about a good bit, and I drive around quite a bit as well so that's another fairly large con for a straight dripper.

Ideally I'd like to get a REO, but my budget is ~$50 at the moment. Someday though...

What are your experiences with "pocket friendly" RBA's. Right now my front runner is a kayfun clone (from hcigar), but I'm more than open to your opinions.

Thanks for the help.

I drip on an IGO-W and have not had leaking problems. As a deployed soldier i know what you mean but up and about all the time. With tghe igo's not having an aircontrol ring and open airhole at all times the key is to not over drip. put more cotton in the base and the ejuice will absorb into the cotton that is drying out. filling the juice well may seem like a good idea but its a recipe for disaster on an IGO. Just add more wick and dont overfill

Both the kayfun/russian style attys should be at, or near the top of your list.
The taifun gt is right up there with them.
I have both, and really can't decide which I like better.
The taifun holds more liquid, but the kayfun is easier to build on.
Both have reduced chambers so the flavor is amazing.
Both are bottom fed coils.
Both have a stainless tank option, for the tank cracker juices.....but you usually have to purchase that as a seperate option with the taifun, whereas the kayfun will almost always come with the stainless tank section.

the vmod is a nice option for a leakless pocket vape. a bottom fed dripper vape, to be more exact. ive used a reo and yes, they do feed better but honestly the vmod gets er done if youre on a budget. vapage does tend to send out coupons up to 50% off, so thats even more help in the $ department.

ive got a vmod 2.0 outfitted with an M6 chinese bottom feed atty. you can also use the A7 which is all stainless, or many others. like a reomizer, but that will run you almost the price of the vmod itself.

the reo is the best bottom feeder that i know of, but the vmod really aint half bad. i like mine a lot. you just have to get an unsealed 510-510 adapter to use RDAs on it. and you have to know that youre tilt-feeding, followed by a dry pull to get the liquid to the atty. while on the reo, youre squonk-feeding directly from the bottle to the atty via a silicon tube.

the vmod has a sort of "catch cup" design that you feed into then suck-up from. however, its possible to set your vmod up for blind squonking and youll wind up with results similar to the reo. i havent gone this route because frankly the way the vmod feeds is perfectly fine for me. the tinkerer in me will likely get a silicon tube to do some blind squonking, but im in no rush.

but if youre looking for a tank RBA that pocketable, i echo the comments above. Kayfun 3.1 clone from FT has been a huge hit for me. i only get leaking with huge temperature shifts. and that only happened once (i was skiing).

A nice kayfun clone (e.g. ehpro) would set you up nicely - easy build, great flavour, very little leaking (not none, mind, but easily manageable). The tank would hold enough for a day out, unless you're a freakish user. The only pain - especially while out and about - is having to rewick (I use cotton and it can need rewicking on a moment's notice). The coil/wick is much less accessible than on a dripper (or genisis-style RTA).

Also, the kayfun can be a pain to refill until you get the hang of top filling (there's a ritual dance involved).

Now the REO, however, is really what you're after. I know, I know, it's out of your current price range, but it's your ultimate end state. It ticks all the boxes on most any seasoned vaper's list. Just know you're going to need/want one sooner or later.

Here's a question out of Left Field: are there any left-handed Reos? I tried my buddies reo recently and it didn't jive with me because every time I went to fire it, the battery door would slide off.
