Well the one I received from VR came in the exact same box that is pictured on FT website. NO doubt in my mind.

You are right, I don't know if the one that FT sales is the one they show in the pictures or not. I am sure they get pictures from any and everywhere.
Heck, I didn't get the one from VR that I thought I was going to get.
Check out this video from someone who said he got his from VR early on in December. He says it is by Asmart.

The one I got this week from VR is made by DaVapes, at least that is what is printed on the box. There are differences between the one in the video and mine. The boxes are entirely different too.
It seems to me that VR changed suppliers with the ones they are selling now. That may be why they lowered the price when they put them back in stock. The description that FT gives for theirs sounds a lot like the one I received from VR, however that may not be a true description at all.
VR has lowered there price today to $49.99.
What do I know????? I am just trying to enjoy my vaping hobby, maybe I would of been better off to have stayed with the analogs.

bite the bullet and buy a real poldiac and know your actually getting the item you expect? working and looking like it's supposed to?

The original one that VR had listed was from Da Vapes. The original pics they had on the site was for the combo BR/SS only and had a pic of the box, but now it doesn't have that box in the pics. Not sure why it was $65 then and $50 now... Maybe they thought being a Poldiac, it would sell at the higher price...

I totally agree with you, the vaping is better, much better.
It is so confusing trying keep up with all the equipment, vendors, manufacturers, etc.
I used to drag race and I am beginning to think it was simpler than this vaping.

You are so correct about buying a REAL Poldiac. I may actually get one a little later on. I have been using regulated mods up to this point and decided to try this mechanical mod. I have an Evic, SID, VTR and SVD.
So far I have enjoyed this Poldica clone and the vape it gives. I am thinking any mods I buy in the future will be mechanicals.
How much better and more dependable are the originals over the clones?
I really like the "side fire" more so than the bottom fire. What are some you would recommend?

Well whatever get said on here about it, I want that mech. Just got my third mech, but I want that one too. It's a very nice looking device and it's got to be better than a Sigelei anything. I like the top/side button better than bottom buttons by a long shot, so this will be my next mech.

I got my poldiac clone from vaperoyalty a month or so ago. It was the $65 version. The Battery and atomizer adjustments are the double screw with reverse threading. It looks great.
I have 3 cons for the device. The kick ring doesn't really match the other tubes. The battery tubes could use a few more threads, I dropped it once and it came apart, but haven't had any issue while using it. The Silver pin for the button isn't perfectly cylindrical, I had to take mine apart and play with the position some to get it to fire easily. When it first arrived I had to press very firmly to get it to fire. My spring is also silver plated and I got an extra.
The kick ring is my biggest complaint as it is polished and doesn't match the brushed look of the rest of the mod. It is also a different diameter then the rest of the mod. It looks a bit wonky.

THAT! is exactly my issue with VR. That is what I sent them a message about - to which they still have not replied.
Interesting - Well, I suppose that's the reason they switched manufacturers. But VR should really have changed their product description.

I just got mine a few days ago. I had to glue the magnet back on the switch. After about 6 dripping sessions today, it stopped working. Checked all connections and couldn't find anything. I'll have to work on itore tomorrow. If it's possible to make it reliable, it'll definitely be worth the work put in. Just a little nervous at the moment.
lol after they spent like 15 paragraphs bragging about how perfect it is and how identical it is to the real one and how awesome it is LOL
They removed it after I emailed them about my concerns. They emailed me back and were very apologetic. They stated that they had removed the Asmart version due to issues with the device and replaced it with this current (DaVapes) version. They told me they would remove all the info describing the Asmart version and the reviews. They were quit disgruntled about the fact that FT is now carrying them and will under cut them. So they don't plan on restocking them.
I ordered one from FT. I don't usually do clones but I've never really liked top button mechs, I do in fact love how the poldiac looks, hopefully the clones is decent. My wife isn't liking any bottom button mechs and would rather use a smoke natural than a fuego or legit nemesis.

I got a Poldiac from VR and it stopped working after about 30 min. I tinkered with it and got it working longer. Then it quit working again. I can't get it to so anything. I wrote VR about an exchange about an hour ago. I really wanted it to work.
