I've been reading a lot of information about the pros/cons of vaping and "possible" side effects.
It seems like a lot of different sources have run tests/research and come out with varying results.
All these tests could not measure up to real life experience.
So... If the members of ECF could please share their stats, I would appreciate it.

1. How long have you been vaping?
2. How many milliliters of liquid do you go through daily?
3. Nicotine level?
4. PG/VG content ratio?
5. What effects to your health have you experienced (good and bad) (vs. analog smoking)?

Thanks in advance for everyone's participation.

1. How long have you been vaping?
I year and 3 months

2. How many milliliters of liquid do you go through daily?
From 4-6 mls

3. Nicotine level?
0mg - this has been in the last month or so.

4. PG/VG content ratio?
usually around PG/VG 70/30. Sometimes 50/50 on my DIY ejuice.

5. What effects to your health have you experienced (good and bad) (vs. analog smoking)?
I have been smokefree since I began vaping. Before that I averaged 45 cigarettes a day. Now I breathe better, have more stamina for exercise, don't pick up every chest cold going around, breath smells better.

Thanks in advance for everyone's participation.
You're welcome. Vape on!

1. Almost 1 month

2. 3-6 mls

3. 12-18 mg/ml

4. Both vendors I have bought from so far use a 50/50 mix, and I haven't asked them to change it yet.

5. Same as kiwivap. The only negative I've found is that I eat more. I'm not hungry, but I have horrible food cravings. But so far, I don't seem to be gaining weight.

1. How long have you been vaping?
-Five days with no analogs at all. The important part is that I don't miss them. :D
-Around a week and a half supplementing with analogs when the disposables gave out.

2. How many milliliters of liquid do you go through daily?
I have no idea. Is that a bad thing?

3. Nicotine level?
11/12 mg, which I think might be a little low for me, but it's working, so no biggie. The first e-cig I tried was 24mg and it knocked me off my a** - I smoked lights. My next order of juice is going to be 6mg.

4. PG/VG content ratio?
80/20

5. What effects to your health have you experienced (good and bad) (vs. analog smoking)?

I'm happy to report nothing. That's a good thing. I hope it continues. I've never had the horrible side effects from smoking that other people report - Coughing, shortness of breath, etc., so that's not a benefit for me, although I'm sure that my lungs are probably pretty happy after 32 years of smoking.

I'm happy to be able to be able to go places and have a beer and a "cig" again. I missed that so much.

1. About 32 days. Started June 6

2. I haven't really figured out my average. I know that I can make a clearo last a few days. On heavy days when I keep my wattage higher I can go through a whole one in a day.

3. started with 16-18mg now I mainly use 12.

4. Most of what I have is 50/50 I believe.

5. I wasn't a real heavy smoker before, but my biggest thing is the lack of an ash taste in my mouth from the cigarettes. Also, no more of that awful smell!

1. How long have you been vaping?

Nine months

2. How many milliliters of liquid do you go through daily?

Roughly 2mls a day, sometimes less, depending on how busy I am.

3. Nicotine level?

18mg

4. PG/VG content ratio?

I like 70/30 best.

5. What effects to your health have you experienced (good and bad) (vs. analog smoking)?

I certainly get less winded, and cough a lot less. Edit: Oh right, I almost forgot, my sense of smell is almost superhuman compared to what it used to be. I can smell someone smoking a cigarette 50 yards upwind now.

1. Just over 4 months.

2. 4-6

3. Most of my liquids are 12mg.

4. Depending on the supplier, generally 80/20 or 70/30.

5. I can actually breathe while running. No more phlegm when I wake up. Things taste far better.
But, I think my favorite health benefit is that I snack far less. I can just vape on a delicious juice and I don't have to worry about it.

Sadly, the opposite has been true for me, my appetite increased after I quit smoking, and I've gained back 15 of the 32lbs that I had lost right before I quit. Oh well...it's still better than smoking though, amirite?
