Has anybody experienced any side effects from vaping?

My side effects:

I can breathe better.
I can go up stairs without losing my breath.
I feel better.
I don't stink of smoke.
My house and car smell so good now compared to before.
My entire family is very happy I've quit smoking.
I got my mom to quit a 50 year smoking habit and convert to vaping.
I got my husband to quit his 25 year habit and convert to vaping.
I got my aunt converted from smoking.
I spend a lot of money even after vaping for quite a while because I love new mods, toppers, and flavors.

:p

No negative health effects, only positive. Actually all who I have converted rave about their health improving.

I've been vaping for 8 months ... the side effects I've been inflicted with so far?

better breathing, better smell, better taste ... and more energy

Same here. Initially, coughing and hacking first thing in the morning as I coughed up the nasty cigarette stuff from my lungs for about a week. No negative side effects though some people have a reaction. I'm a diabetic and long time smoker. No changes in my blood glucose levels.

I read somewhere, and have since heard it from several other sources, that the most common cause of headache is dehydration itself. I used to get headaches all the time, which were problematic because if I didn't take an aspirin within half an hour of first feeling it, it would turn into a migraine - one of the most unpleasant experiences in life. But I got tired of taking an ibuprofen or aspirin every time I started to get a headache. So after I heard that bit about dehydration I began to closely monitor my own water intake. I noticed that if I did start to get a headache, and just drank a lot of water instead of taking an aspirin or other pain reliever, the headache would go away exactly as if I had. Since I started drinking water throughout the day, no more headaches. No more migraines, either. Not for years, and no change when I started vaping.
So, I think when you say you get dehydrated sometimes, and sometimes get a headache, these things are probably related. Just my opinion but from my own experience there seems to be a disctinct connection.

I never correlated the two: dehydration and headaches, but after reading this I can say that drinking ampule amounts of water works. I have a prescription for migration medication and since I started Vaping and drinking 5-6 bottles of water a day, I have not had a headache! I just now realized it .... I have two untouched prescriptions sitting in the cabinet!

I have been vaping for roughly four years and the only major side effect's I have experienced are a dwindling bank account balance and the look of disdain I receive from my wife when I'm stalking the mail person, or I say I'm going to stop off for a bottle of juice and come in saying "look what I got!" :D
Other than that, the only strangeness I have encountered is that when filling one of my Russians, if I drip a little liquid on my finger and lick it off I get hiccups for about five minutes, lol.
I have also found that liquids with pomegranate flavoring tend to make me feel queasy.
Other than that nothing at all.

I have been vaping for just a few days & notice that my tongue & the roof of my mouth are feeling like they have been burned...like when you drink a very hot liquid too quickly...and your mouth is sore for a day or two. When I wake up...I'm fine...but fairly quickly (hours) my mouth seems to feel burned again...I'm using a 50/50 PG/VG mix and a 12mg nic juice from Mt Baker. I'm not vaping excessively and I'm stumped. I'm also using a bunch of flavors to try to figure it all out

I had the same for the first few weeks, but it went away thankfully. Been using 50/50, at 12 to 18mg.

Thanks CC..Things are a bit better today...not so much soreness...I went to 50/50 and am even vaping an 80/20 VG/PG mix at times...

I know the water (lots of it) is helping. It makes sense that the alcohol in the PG absorbs a lot of water when turning from vapor back into liquid...thus the dry mouth...and I know I'm a lot more dehydrated when vaping...even with all the water I drink, I'm not ...... a lot (sorry)...but my body is absorbing the fluid it needs...

I've been vaping for 17+ months and I've noticed an increase in thirst and postnasal drip since switching to RDA's and RBA's. My breathing has gotten better and I no longer need my 2-3 inhalers or nebulizer. I don't get winded like I use to. I sleep and wake better. My blood pressure hasn't changed believe it or not. I haven't had a problem with swelling of the ankles, I use a 50/50 mix. I've gained and lost weight. I have dropped my nic intake from 18mg to 6mg and intend on going down to 3mg to 0mg in the near future. That's about it.

Ps. Since upping my water intake I no longer have the high number of migraines I once had. :D
