HI everyone,

I'm new on the forum and in vaping also.
6 months ago I bought an Itaste VTR with a pair of Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mah.
I only relied on mah number when I purchased them.
recently, about 1 week ago, a single battery lasts half a day only with a res 2.1ohms. about 3 to 5ml of eliquid. maybe I vape more than before because Im now using 4mg of nicotine liquid, but Im sure Im not like chain vaping.. when the batteries were new it lasted about 1.2 day before the led turns orange.

by reading maybe post on this forum I figured out I need a high drain battery for my regulated MOD.
they are all about the same price.
could you recommend me a battery which the specs fit my devices, and for the best battery life?
I've got in mind, but I don't know how to choose.
LG HE2 18650 2500mAh 35A
Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh
Sony VTC4 2100mAh (my local supplier seems to have it!? are they discontinued or not?)

I am living in vietnam, so not much choice than to get them imported by a friend coming soon.. I want to buy the good, Ive got one shot to get them:)

thank you for your advices!
Mike!

That battery isn't really meant for vapijg, but it is OK for the VTR cuz it cant exceed the amp liimit. Batteries also start to go bad after awhile so its nothing really. I'd suggest ordering either a set of LG HE2 or Samsung25r, bother are meant for vapijg and can be had for $12 for a pair at illumn.com or other reputable vendors. Much better bats and twice as cheap as those Panasonics. Don't buy batts at vape shops they rip you off. I used to buy all my LGs and Sammy's off eBay before they got popular, so I'd stay away from eBay now because once a batt becomes popular they tend to get counterfeited\rewrapped using crap batteries

Out of your choices listed above I'd say the LG HE2 or HE4, or the Sony VTC4, and as @juggler86 posted, the Samsung 25R is a nice all around cell as well. If you plan on getting a more power device, you could plan ahead now and just invest in the Sony VTC4 (ie a 75watt and above device), if not then the LGs and Samsungs will do you just fine and peachy.

yes, VTR 15w. and 5A limit I guess.
my panasonic NCR...B are getting worn out fast after 6 months. I live in a hot country, but I did'nt notice over heating. I've got an intellicore i2 charger too. so I though the problem is that I'm using them in their max limit.
I'll check if I can get the ones you recommend, as they seem to be high drain and high mah. hum.. is it even possible :/
need to find a supplier other than amazon now.

guys I get back to you.
yesterday I borrowed a battery AW 18650 3.7V 2000mah
not brand new, but a 2 years old one. but he used it like 1.5 month only.
so.. ''as new''
specs: Max. continuous discharge rate : 10A

I'm experiencing the same bad battery life than with my 6 months old Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7V 3400mAh.

this morning 7am
battery 100%
top up the e juice to the max 3mL in the iclear 30s

vape at 10 10.5 watts (briefly)
ato 2.1ohms

10:30am
LED turned orange
got 1.9mL left in the carto

so it take 1.1mL before the LED turned orange.
does it seems like normal to you?

I remember having a huge battery life when I got my VTR, I dont think I change my vaping habit a lot that it would explain that drop:(
thanks! mike

specs say:

Green LED light = battery voltage higher than 3.75v
Yellow LED light = Battery voltage around 3.61v-3.75v
Red LED light = Battery voltage lower than 3.61v
Red LED will keep blinking for 8 seconds when battery capacity is lower than 3.3v and the iTaste VTR will turn off.

I will refill juice to 3mL and check out when the red light turns on.

+1mL
switch led turned Red.

so, it took me 2.1mL at 10W to go through a full charged AW 18650 3.7V 2000mah battery.

I'm not going to invest in more batteries, but to change the device.
in addition I'd like to say the friend who recommended me the VTR.. now gave it up due to problem with his batteries as well, samsung 2600mah. also the spring that makes contact with the battery went off. so he is now using a eleaf istick.

I guess we've been trough the same problem. well.. don't buy a VTR. it's tempting to say it has a design failure or manufacturing defect :(
