Poor Wicking

I'm talking about the wick running through the spike. The wick in the coil, I imagine, would be tricky to replace, and for me, not worth the time and effort. The wick in the spike is dead simple on the other hand, and makes much more sense to me to replace it than clean the old one. I paid around two bucks for several feet of silica wick that will probably last me years.

Thanks. I figured the wick in the coil would be next to impossible for someone with fingers the size of mine!

Eric was an animal about posting when the eRoll first dropped - I learned a ton of stuff from him. Definitely good advise about the wick fusing to the coil.

I've had good luck dry burning to unfuse the wick. I just remove the tank, cover the air hole with my finger and draw gently on the cone (be careful, it gets pretty hot!). I don't inhale this crap, and try not to keep it in my mouth for very long. Always works for me!
